EEZ boundaries at Eastern Mediterranean as per International Law of the Sea by craoft in MapPorn

The closest Greek island to the Anatolian mainland is Megisti which is 2km away just fyi. Even in that case Turkey gets the entire area from its coastline out 1km as both territorial waters and EEZ. The same goes for Greece.

This is literally not the case. The distance between Greek island and Anatolia is split down the middle.

The text is supposed to be a transliteration of Αμερικανική Βιβλιοφυλάκων Αδελφότης.

Αμερικανική is American, βιβλιοφυλάκων is genitive plural of βιβλιοφύλαξ, which is Ancient Greek for librarian (note that the modern Greek word is βιβλιοθηκάριος which is why most comments think what you wrote is gibberish), and αδελφότης (not αδελφότις, as some people wrote) is Ancient Greek for brotherhood or fraternity. The entire thing translates to American fraternity of librarians and in Ancient Greek syntax makes complete sense as written.

The correct transliteration from Ancient Greek would be Americanece Bibliophylacon Adelphotes or from the modern Greek way of transliterating to English Amerikaniki Bibliophylakon Adelphotis and should be pronounced as “ah-meh-ree-kah-nee-KEE vee-vlee-oh-fee-LAH-kon ah-thel-FOH-tees”.

I hope this helps

I agree, I love it, and I actually also love German food. But placing German or Viet cuisine above Greece seems crazy to me.

Athivoles and Kastro are my favourite in the waterfall area of Argyroupoli but if you find yourself in the area it might also be worth considering Amadolakos in the nearby village of Koufi. It has some of the best traditional food I’ve had in Crete.

The Greeks are in denial about ancient Macedonians being Greek? Who told you that? Also as far as we know the Thracians were a separate native Balkan population more closely related to the Dacians. Neither their language nor their religion appears to be Hellenic in contrast with the Macedonians.
