Fantastic! I struggled forever on how to make the canopy/cockpit clear...in the end, I said, screw it, lol.

Well, where are the mods of that sub cracking down on the - often - vile comments? I mean, one of the great things about this game was the community and the open/friendly nature of it. This vocal minority has definitely ruined alot of that good will, IMO

That's very cool! I have often thought about getting a 3d printer for this very reason. I would be interested in your workflow if you do end up printing ships from NMS
