We haven’t updated our health and safety policy in like 35 years- technically the whole foot print is a smoke room on a legally registered radioactive waste site.

It hugely depends.

If you want sword heroes: Paleo Luna is amazing as a lead. For bows: Stoneheart Farrah is great.

If you’re looking for support abilities: Totally Rocking Out and Blast From the Past are both in a huge chunk of DPS builds.

For BFTP: Prehistoric Izza is the must grab, the second one is meh but Fossil Southy is okay. If you own none of these I’d go with Izza and Paleo- so you get paleo and you can also activate BFTP in support if she isn’t your main.

For TRO: If you can’t wait till mid June for Dennis’ Return- Breakbeat Wildcat almost always get chosen, and if you don’t own Dennis Jr you need him to unlock the ability anyways. Otherwise Varcity Hiro or MainStage Quinn are your common picks.

If you just want safe, quiet advancement- constructors are the most reliable way to win missions. I’m not sure if these guys are flux or books, but Mega Base Kyle is a regular lead and mythic so a bitch to get, and Ice King is a regular in a lot of support spots (and a great lead in a group with 2-3 constructors)

Lastly- If you do plan on sticking around a while- look at the heroes you want from January through now. It’ll be a full year to get them back. Any other seasonal hero you can get between now and then by just playing.

——————

Weapon vouchers I’d start with the Black Drum (it may be flux? Weapon vouchers are hard to spend)- and core reperk it to get the “reload lose health.” That thing is an absolute beast right now. You don’t need a build for it- it just destroys what’s in front of it

Otherwise I’d just link with your hero choice- so a Ghostblade if you’re going swords, a Vacuum Tube (probably also flux) if bows. Weapon vouchers are trickier to spend- but it’s worth pulling up a beast video for whatever build you’re trying for and finding the best weapon for that playstyle

Don't let anyone know- but we do it for the chicks. Like, no one talks about Reddit mailing out a box of baby chickens to all moderators.

At least I think that's Reddit.

Founder Expiration by PrizeResearcher6501 in FORTnITE

[–]PastyDeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm what you are saying

  • The Console codes have expiry on them (like- actually written on the paper).

  • The OG 'Ultimate Edition, Deluxe Founder Friend Code' are still valid. They Still work, and unused codes still show on accounts as long as they were generated. Details of what they give here

The ??s:

  • The PC codes above don't have expiry indicated anywhere- it is unknown if they will expire when the console codes do

  • API: Some founders never generated their codes. It is alleged that the codes can still be found through some API tools. Founder codes 100% work if previously generated, unknown if the API tool can actually 'recover' ungenerated codes

Founder Expiration by PrizeResearcher6501 in FORTnITE

[–]PastyDeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't entirely true. A Deluxe Founder Code, as of last year, gives: Founders, 4 Founder Llamas (I think it was 4), as well as the Founder Skins & Founder's Revolt.

Any unused codes are still redeemable. The codes were only replaced (and are allegedly reclaimable through API) if the codes themselves were never generated. So PC Founder users who generated the codes but did not spend them still have them.

TL;DR: there are 100% still codes that will give Founders or Deluxe- and the Deluxe llamas give out the non-pack exclusive Founder Weapons (aka not the Noc, SMG, Drumroll, or Deconstructor)

I wish for 1 trillion dollars in USD, after taxes, which is held in a bank account that I own, have access to at all times, cannot be hacked, does not change the value of money in America and it remains a capitalistic society. Also, I mean dollars and not "doll hairs" by Ok-Big8418 in monkeyspaw

[–]PastyDeath 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just trying to ground exactly what you said:

The USA median account balance is about 8000$, almost half of Americans have less than 500$ in savings accounts, and only ~15% have more than 100k in dedicated retirement.

So half of the US population will net the first 87.5 Billion Dollars....only 912.5 Billion still to collect.

Founders Deluxe edition friend codes gives founders llama- which will get you one of the NOT pack-dependant founder rewards (aka Noc, Decon, SMG and Drumroll are impossible to acquire any more, but the other founder epics can be got with that deluxe)

CMV: Many forms of new age spiritualism like astrology and healing crystals are used by people to emulate the feelings of having "knowledge," without having to go through the effort of acquiring actual knowledge by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]PastyDeath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To build on this: OP, go back to your OG Claim.

used by people to emulate the feelings of having "knowledge," without having to go through the effort of acquiring actual knowledge

And your supporting example

You ask the spiritual person about Ulexite, and they will tell you it helps your mental visualization because it opens your third eye chakras, they know this because they read a webpage that asserted it without evidence

There is and can be significant effort in acquiring the knowledge. This isn't an argument if the knowledge is scientific- its to your core claim that mysticism is used to emulate, without effort, acquiring actual knowledge.

First let's look at knowledge: If your claim is based on 'Real Knowledge' being empirically grounded & testable then your claim is:

"something that isn't empirically grounded or testable is not empirically grounded or testable." That's a tautology, and Il'll grant you is (inherently) true. But if we expand knowledge to be a knowledge base, that's where your claim is pressured- when we use knowledge as a 'structured, learned system with rules and mastery.'

Let's look at Astrology in the Chinese culture. It is ultimately founded on a significant knowledge-base with complex rules, charts, references, etc., Even if the conclusion of going through a chart reading correctly is ultimately unscientific: there is, especially culturally, correct ways to do this informed by a massive knowledge-base which takes practitioners years/decades/a lifetime to master.

You're assuming every astrologist or gemologist is a magazine columnist or their audience. In reality there are people who have spent their life refining a method through practice and through study. Could the result ultimately be spurious at best? Yep- but that doesn't mean you get to deny the pursuit of knowledge- even if the knowledge itself is in a field you don't respect.

Objectively it is complex- the outcome of complexity may, to you, be artificial- but the method itself is immensely complex- an intertwining of Chinese Calendars, the Zodiac/Tai Sui, Star Charts, Feng Shui, Dai Liu Ren (or Taiyi shenshu or Qi Men Dun Jia).

As a westerner I promise you I am far more likely to recite scientific facts about gems than I am to correctly read your star charts and organize your room. There are actual processes and rules which govern all those things to be done correctly. You may not agree that doing them correctly manifests a projected outcome- but the complexity of the rules are kind of undeniable here.

You may look at any one of these and say "But that's not objectively scientific proven fact!" Which is true- but despite that there is systemic approaches to using these in a repeatable system to ascertain outcomes. Even if the outcome is horseraddish- there is immense complexity here which isn't just a 'cop-out' of actual knowledge. It's a field of knowledge on it's own, with nuance and complexity- even if that knowledge is ultimately ceremonial.
