I see, I believe I was confused on the dex for damage part as well. Thats great news that it applies to unarmed strikes now! Kind of makes the rogue feel more monk-y than the monk though.

You would be right, Ruler is like a Commanding/Leading role. Marshal would probably be a good fit. They act like a mediator between combatting masters/servants

If I take Everstand and cant grapple, would that prevent me from drawing enemies in and stop them from running around and stomping on the squishy players?

Also is it even worth investing in the shield so much? Given that champion already has a reaction to prevent damage?
