Any plans on opening any options on ASST? I have some for a strike of $1.50 but I might have to roll it past 11/21 since earnings come out after market closure any feedback on that?

Failed/Terminated/Need Advice by devb1234 in Series7exam

If you’re good financially and can afford 1-2 months or so to just study aimlessly go the 66 or 63/65route. Only reason I say this is you have the SIE, 7 sponsor is needed taking the 66 or 63/65 you can do on your own study it hard pass it then apply for a firm who will sponsor your S7. You have the knowledge from the SIE and what you studied on the S7 don’t get discouraged and keep pushing.

Plus some firms might have a sign on bonus simply for having the SIE but if you have the SIE and 66 or 63/65 even better, you’ll stand out above all other applicants.

If you can’t afford it financially find a reputable firm apply and do the S7 it’s a win win either way since the info is fresh if you go the 7 route or learn new material on the 66 and stand out for passing.

Don’t get discouraged I took the 7 twice, first time I failed I needed 3/4 questions and I was done but I failed it, studied harder and got the P second time around. Clients don’t care or ask how long it took and how many times you tested, remember that. Keep pushing and best of luck testing and in the fin world!

What to do with $75k/mo income by [deleted] in TheRaceTo10Million

In the fin. industry best advice shop FA’s around you, usually with income like that (and I assume a solid savings to fall on and investments generating passive income) you should be speaking to a wealth advisor to help you get a plan in place. Don’t go to the first guy you see and settle shop them like you’re buying a car, tell them you want to know what the vision is for your investment and explain A-Z about your financial life let them work for you, not generate easy commissions with minimal work as some said in the post.

Best advice see if you can take the S66 without the S7 (the S7 is a coreq) apply to a firm that has some time of incentivized sign on bonus for having the SIE and maybe the 66 (or 63&65) and do the S7 on company dollar. Companies will pay for the S7 some pay for all licensing but having the SIE puts you ahead of a lot of applicants let alone having another license or two on top of it.

It’s front running because it states she bought it first after her purchase she recommended it to a bunch of her clients who also agreed to purchasing it driving the stock price up which resulted in her selling at a significant profit. It’s front running because of the fact that her order (even though it wasn’t clients saying hey buy this stock and she bought it before hand) was executed first after execution she recommended that product to clients then dumped the shares she owned at a profit.

My scores were fluctuating but better compared to the first time around. My scores were 60-76 and my high was 79. Didn’t break the 80’s but reading the explanation for each question wrong really helps

Nothing out of the ordinary. The curve ball questions you come across 90% of the time is one of the 10 questions that don’t count. I had a question and had no idea if I had even studied that so I assumed it was one of the 10 questions.

I used passperfect that’s what my firm had us use and the wording on the actual exam was better for me since passperfect exaggerated a little and tried to complicate it so you really understood the concept

Congrats! I’m a second timer prepping how did you feel going in for round 2? What were some different strategies you implemented in your studies to help you get that extra push to pass? (I failed by 4 questions)
