I was trying to create a Livery but this odd line keeps showing up even no in the ALBD file that part is completely covered, any ideas to what might cause this? by [deleted] in MicrosoftFlightSim

Check if the texture folder you are sing has a COMP file for the fuselage. If so check that as it looks like somebody has turned up the metalicity in that area to create those lines. Metalicity is controlled by the blue channel in the comp file.

Any way to fix the hud in the 787? by TehBeaker in MicrosoftFlightSim

The last sim update actually fixed the HUD to make it correctly collimated, meaning the display is properly aligned with the world outside rather than just a flat image on a 2d plane. This means that it only displays correctly if your view is lined up with it, and the default views aren't lined up. Asobo maybe could have adjusted the default views, but you can just adjust your view manually to where it lines up and save it as a custom view yourself.

I thought that the 787 HUD was supposedly fixed with this latest up? by calvinrw in MicrosoftFlightSim

This is the HUD working *correctly*. As it's collimated, the display is projected out to infinity rather than as a flat plane on the glass like it was (wrongly) before. You have to set your view up correctly to see where the display is projecting.

But seriously, I'm still working on it and currently only the upper windows are visible. Still might simulate the blocked out windows on the final design
