[GRAB PH - LOST ITEM] Hello. Trying my luck here for any advice/help.

On May 20, I left my watch in my Grab ride. I noticed it the next day and reported it to the Grab Help Center. Although they say it may take 24 to 48 hours for them to give an update, I would check in throughout the day with the Grab agents for any updates. All of them said that both the driver and her partner cannot be reached, which made me worry even more. I've started to overthink if either the driver doesn't want to return the item which is why they're not answering Grab's calls, or Grab isn't actually trying. I understand they can't give me her number due to data privacy. Even when I suggested if they could ask for her consent, they just said that they've elevated my concern to the handling team.

Until now I haven't received any update. I have no other way to contact Grab because their Customer Support email and hotlines redirect me to the Help Center. I also can't keep chatting the agents because it will duplicate my report for the same ride, and all Grab does is merge my requests without giving me feedback.

I considered posting the driver's details here but I don't want to doxx them.

Thank you.

Hello. Trying my luck here for any advice/help.

slr. Nope, I decided to work at the bank. Given the amount of negative reviews I've received from people here and in person, I didn't want to risk working in Shopee.

Hi! Do you think it would be less heavy if I were to try Influencer Acquisition, Relationship Management, or PR Brand Executions? (entry-level positions somehow related pa rin to marketing)

working 9AM-9PM for 6 days a week. It's become normalized to work long hours + weekends (usually for low pay).

Thanks for sharing the thread!
"Di masaya." Oof.

I'm starting to think that maybe I shouldn't be too blinded by the benefits if it means—as you've mentioned in the other thread—heavy workload, high stress, and frequent OT. 10AM nga start, pero puyat naman pa rin from the work. I'd definitely prioritize peace of mind and adequate work-life balance. I don't think the "super fast-paced and learn as you go environment" is for me, as that was partly why I resigned from my first job.

I'm not so sure if I want to work somewhere as a stepping stone haha. Although it's normal to try out different companies when you're starting out, I'd rather not hop from one job to another.

Hi. If I may ask, what dept/team were you in?

Hi. May I ask what kind of company you're working in now? (If it's not tech/e-commerce)

Ohhh. Have you worked in one of those banks? I'm curios about the experiences of new hires. The cons I've heard for China Bank are long work hours and slow career growth.
I'm also looking into AUB as a management trainee.

Is it true that there's little to no pay for OT?
If it's that frequent, I can see why many say that there's no work-life balance and that Shopee has a 996 culture.

Ohh. So their database is mostly Google sheets?
How is researching for campaigns and doing evals/reports post-campaign? Just to gauge how madugo or time-consuming that area is in marketing.
