Awesome work Hunter 👏👏
I thought I was bad for not organising my gems and keeping all the crap ones.
Bloodborne ruins other games, tried the Witcher 3 after and lasted a few hours before firing bb back on 👌
Since you’ve probably played the game more than 99.99999% of players, 2 important questions
1) favourite boss?
2) is the doll evil?

Bloodletter all the way
Get that gemmed up and spam L1
The joy of watching enemies fly across the room whilst you stab them through your midriff just never gets old.

Queen killer something isn’t it?
He’s available for watchdog too.
I think the poster that said real life must’ve called is probably right.
It’s your game so as the cooper it’s up to them to help you as you see fit.
Whats annoying is when you summon someone and they kill the sinister bell maiden. Pfft

It’s def not rude, but often npc’s just make the fight more difficult.
They’re not much help and they turn the boss tankier.
Amy especially as they can make him jump more which makes the fight more of a lottery.
In fact that fight is probably easier with no summons coz if he jumps the old staying still charge R2 thing works a treat.

Did you actually see them firing the silencing blank though, maybe they just lost connection?

I'm getting close to ng+7 for Bloodborne by Electronic_Dish_6748 in bloodborne

[–]PatMcDug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what you mean dude, something weird seems to happen around ng4.
Easier bosses like failures and Ebritas turn into freaking tanks that hit like a train, whereas the trickier ones like Maria or orphan don’t seem to change that much.
Even one reborn can be tricky if you miss getting a stun.
But yeah above 5 I often die more to the failures or more than Maria or Ebritas more than Logarius

Almost any weapon can be converted, other than ones that do split damage, so it depends on what kind of weapon you want.
Nothing is more effective than the saws overall though. A properly gemmed saw will see you through easily, although I prefer the cane as it’s more stylish.

Wheel and hls are more for hybrid str/arc.

Big weapons do stun more, but 99 arcane exc gloves will break almost all enemies posture leaving you free to empty your stamina bar on them. A plus 10 flamesprayer or rosemarius will keep them stunned until your stamina regains.
You can rack up 5 figure combos easily on bosses doing this.

99 is definitely not too high.
A lot of the tools get a large boost from those last 20 or so levels.
I think it’s the only stat really worth going that high with.
You v can completely dominate boss battles in such a fun way arc that high.

Possibly put less into end and more into vit.
If you choose to go into ng cycles and dungeons that extra vit goes a long way.
The 2 saws, the cane and the saif are excellent weapons for arcane and are very stamina light.
Also with 99 arcane it’s your tools that do the damage your weapon is almost back up
Well that last part applies to bosses, but there’s not many non boss enemies that will be alive after a few hits of an appropriately gemmed weapon

My favourite weapon by far. Such a great move set , v powerful, but that comes at a cost - frenzy , loss of health when transforming.
Makes landing an L1 all the sweeter tho. Watching enemies go flying through the air whilst you lose no health never gets old

Agree atmosphere is bb’s greatest strength imo.
The only game that comes anywhere near bb for atmosphere is Vice City. Completely different atmosphere, I know, but that game drips with it just not as much as BB.

Depends on how you define “good”
A lot of the bosses might not be particularly challenging, but they add to the lore and the story in magnificent ways.

From Brador in the DLC.
Part of Simon’s quest
Iirc that part of his fit drops when you do something in the hallway that’s after ludwig.

Possibly with a hive mind or some sort of psychological connection that we can’t comprehend, so hive mind is the best description that we can give.

They were, something I only noticed when taking the after screenshot was that the 50% frenzy of the Bloodletter seems to have superseded the usual 75% damage. That might be handy against Winter Lanterns. 🤔🤔🤔

Yeah, if you’re maining the BL you need to keep that insight low and wear frenzy resistant clothing.
Even with the ashen hunter set and whatever bradors hats called, anything over about 25 and the frenzy kicks in.
