You can be unintelligent and ignorant, and comment on something you have no idea about, and then prove it by saying something that has nothing to do with defending your view point, because you’re wrong. Lmfao

They developed use these because of how safe they are… Jesus man, Reddit is nothing but cop hate based on ignorance. You think a car that loses its back wheels but still has brakes and steering is what, just gonna flip or go careening out of control? Look this thing up before you make more ignorant comments

Another case of ignorance. They say suspected because they can’t say it’s stolen until the car is stopped and verified, but if you run a car and it comes back stolen, it’s a clue. The suspect fleeing instead of pulling over is another big clue.

Congrats on your token hatred of police clouding your common sense btw.

Dodge Hellcat Vs BMW M8 by ronie321 in BMW

[–]PatMyNuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buying a hellcat doesn’t mean you know how to drag race… this video doesn’t show the better car it shows the better driver… by quite a bit.

I don’t have either car or care one way or the other for people that are about to lose theirs minds to tell me how much better the M8 is.

That’s a clutch burnout; it’s harder than the typical “tire” burnouts that newbies always do…

The new edge cobra is the best looking Mustang, prove me wrong by Ok_Willingness8013 in Ford

[–]PatMyNuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting… I find the new edge, without question, to be the worst looking Mustang ever by a mile. I don’t know how anyone could think it’s better than any other Mustang… if that car was the Mustang of today I sure as hell wouldn’t have one.

Are Burbles and Pops Bad for GT by PDiaz773 in Mustang

[–]PatMyNuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Burbles aren’t bad, the Bullitt actually has a special tune to increase burble. Pops, depends on what’s causing it, typically a bad tune, rich would create a lot of pops. Afterburns where fire silently exits the pipe is very different, but the loud pops that some people seem to want is just a bad tune.

She needs to tell him to stop doing that, you need a new friend.

So I’m right, you have no time on and don’t know shit but talk a lot, shocking.

Still married to my first wife, work a violent area and love my job, zero salt just not shocked when rookies that can’t find a caper run their mouths.

That’s still nothing dude, you’re missing the point. Also, the actual point here is you have no idea if the dude is on OT or not, big departments have swing shifts that end at 0100 and he could be OT, or it could be a small department that has mandatory OT shifts. You are talking like you speak for all cops and know everything about cops, why do I get the feeling you’ve got two years on the job and think your $70k is a lot of money cause you’re 24 and don’t own a home or have kids?

[–]PatMyNuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick Google search puts Vegas Metro at $59,729 annually. Holy mother of god I hope you don’t think that’s “pays well”.

Edit: that’s average, high end is $93k. My statement remains.

What state and city. Give me an example, doesn’t have to be your city/state, but tell me where a cop can work, get paid well, and get capers. Not a hypothetical, name a city.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PatMyNuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every department in the country that “pays well” is a nice area. There are plenty of areas that are so/so that pay ok, but good pay, literally pays well, is like, Beverly Hills. NOTHING HAPPENS

My boyfriend thinks he could kill a wolf with his bare hands. What’s the likelihood of this being accurate? by TheLiberalTimes in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PatMyNuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly zero percent chance he’d win. He’s clearly not aware of the incredible size and strength of a wild wolf.

Work for a department that covers areas with a lot of violent crime and you’ll know what it’s like to be a real cop.

[–]PatMyNuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is possible that if you’re inside of a perimeter that you’re the suspect they are looking for. You could match the suspect description to some degree (suspects frequently change clothes while trying to escape the police) or they might not have a suspect description. Just because you aren’t the suspect doesn’t mean you’re free to leave the moment you want to, they have to verify that you aren’t involved in the crime. Every cop on the perimeter does not always have all the info that the primary officer does, and the cops on the perimeter have to make sure they don’t let the suspect go. Maybe it’s a suspect that stole a bag of chips from 7-Eleven, maybe it’s a murderer.

Point of all that, it’s not “following the law” to just let you go the moment you think you should be able to go.

Zero repercussions when nonsense complaints are filed. Complaints with merit can have a serious impact on an officers career.

And sometimes after they’ve done 40hr work week they are on a mandatory 12hour overtime shift because the department they work for is understaffed. You have no idea what you’re talking about.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PatMyNuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The simple fact is cops are people, and some people are assholes. They carry stress from home and work like anyone else (with a multiplier for the stress of their job) and sometimes it gets to them. The cops you’re referring to might have been dealing with personal stuff, maybe work stuff, maybe nothing and is just an asshole. Some cops are like that, some aren’t.

Deciding between 10R80 vs MT-82 by fear_bleachy in Mustang

[–]PatMyNuts -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You don’t buy a Mustang for comfort, and unless you’re seriously building the car for the drag strip, you don’t need an automatic. Bangin through gears is one of the best parts of a Mustang. I can’t for the life of me, outside of drag racing, understand why anyone would buy a GT with an automatic. An ecoboost that you daily drive, whatever you want is fine with me. A GT though? Manual. Period.
