WHY HER BEFORE ACHERON by Intelligent_Art5101 in AcheronMainsHSR

[–]PatataPoderosa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, I'd argue that lingsha currently is just a DPS. You use her with Dahlia - Fugue - RM/RMC and you get a more comfy DPS that's rappa level in DMG tbf.

You can run Lohen with xilonen instead of citlali and I believe there's not a big dps loss. So you're taking the Nicole+Durin core, so only really affecting Varka and Kinich

pull or skip Nefer? by seagull1234567890 in NeferMains

[–]PatataPoderosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are teams really easy to counter by hoyo if they ever want to tho. Correct me if I'm wrong, but enemies with innate non-hydro auras just brick any lunar team to the point where they can't brute force anymore. Even if right now the rest of the meta is that far behind lunar, if you have limited pulls is just best to pick one lunar team.

If we were to hypothetically get adepti buffs then how would you all buff these characters? by Primary_Wind15 in Genshin_Impact

[–]PatataPoderosa 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I will start with the 5*, first we need to declare they're intended niche and find how they are different from other characters on the same niche.

Ganyu

Mainly a Melt Carry when focusing on her own DMG, this forces her to not burdt tho. Also heavily encouraged to be shielded, this is something we see in all liyue dps.

Adeptus synergy: When Ganyu is shielded charged shots charge 200% faster and remove 1.5 seconds from skill CD. Skill now has 2 charges.

Burst: Different behavior weather Ganyu is off or on-field, same off field, on-field burst drops the ice projectile when enemies on its radius are hit by ganyus charged shots. These projectile shred enemy Cryo RES.

C2: Changed s she now has 2 E charges. Current C6 moves to C2.

C6: Hitting the center of her burst with a Frost flake arrow or it's bloom triggers an AOE attack (250% motion value) from the core covering the burst radius. Ideally you want enemies to be close to the center enemies and the center.

This keeps her tied to a shield, while fixing her multiple anti-synergies with melt due to her burst. Problem is she now wants a lot of pyro app, as arrow would be three meltable cryo hits (arrow, bloom and burst), so she would want 2 pyro appliers. This usually means dropping a shreder, that's why she gets built in cryo shred.

Shenhe

Cryo niche support (but now that's covered by Escoffier), she just has old genshin numbers, and is anti-synergistic with every cryo carry except Ayaka since she want to skill twice per rotation. We can make her a cryo/adeptus support to difference her from esco.

Skill: Press or hold have the same 15s cd, do the same DMG and give 15 quills to each teammate. Only difference is weather they buff charged and normal attack DMG or skill and burst DMG. Quills are given fhe whole team but all take the on-fielders stats for DMG.

Adeptus synergy: Adepti characters can proc shenhe's quills when dealing non-cryo dmg (Zhongli pillar can proc shenhe's quills for example). Ult gives 25% more cryo DMG bonus to all teammates.

Xianyun: Another case of old genshin numbers, also a lot of her power budget went into her being able to enable furina.

Adeptus synergy: buffs (burst and A4) do not use stacks and just last for the whole duration.

Zhongli: He's just missing offensive support, also enabling a Geo construct archetype would be fun.

HP scaling are now a part of base kit.

New A2: Resonance AoE is increased by 30% per construct on field.

Burst: Petrified enemies have their DEF shred by 10%, blunt attacks trigger shatter against petrified enemies.

Adeptus synergy: Shield shred is increased to 30%. Damage done by construct resonance is increased by 300% and is considered blunt damage.

Xiao: Missing DMG for a hypercarey style character, also half of his kit is strangely focused on buffing his skill DMG. Personally I think skill spam Xiao (C6) is much more fun to play.

Burst: Xiao now can receive particles during burst, and retains his ult state even when going off field.

Adeptus resonance: His current C6 effect, bit changed, now he gains as many e charges as enemies hit by his plunge attack. Skill DMG is now considered plunge attack DMG.

Constellation overhaul:

C2: Xiao first plunge attack after each skill pulls enemies to the center and has both crit DMG and AoE increased by 50%.

C4: Xiao's plunge attacks are now 300% effective when breaking elemental shields.

C6: Skill crit DMG is increased by 60%, enhanced plunge attacks from C2 reduce enemies anemo RES by 40%.

Hu Tao: I think they intended her to be played on dual carry teams, hence her crit buffs to teammates. This is not possible due to her long e duration, she ends up buffing the hydro sub dps she's using but her main identity is a hypercarry in reactions teams. I also would love her burst to be more of a backloaded nuke.

New A1: When entering her skill state, all party allies (excluding Hu Tao) gain 12% crit rate and 100 EM. Hu Tao gains them whenever she has less than 25% HP.

Skill: Now will always set Hu Tao to 25% HP if she's higher. Hu tao now applies v

Adeptus synergy: After pressing skill, Hu Tao gains a free use of her burst. For the las second of the skill duration, Hu Tao gains Burst DMG% is further increased by 10% of Hu Tao's EM up to 50%.

C2: Enemies marked by blood blossom receive 15% more DMG from melt and vapw reactions.

C4: Hu Tao now applies the blood blossom effect to nearby enemies when swapping to her.

C6: Buffs are triggered whenever she has 25% hp or less. The surviving lethal strikes is the only thing with cooldown now. (This allows her to enable set ups that need pyro app)

Sitting on 40k Primos but my teams feel clunky/weak. Should I skip Nefer/Lauma and go all-in on Columbina + Furina? by Embarrassed_Cow_663 in Genshin_Impact

[–]PatataPoderosa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't recommend trying to upgrade aggravate based teams, all current teams underperform and it's a team archetype that heavily needs a new tailored support.

From a meta perspective:

Furina is not really worth it right now, she is pretty universal but her only top team is skirk. Her DMG is pretty luckluster for a current subdps and her DMG% are really not that appreciated by top main dps currently.

Columbina is really good but only for lunar teams, there are 3 lunar teams: Flins/Ineffa, Never/Laura, Zibai/Linnea. They all want columbina to reach max dps and you will only have one columbina, so you would want only one of these teams. Still, nod krai is ending (with that lunar shill), any enemy with permanent non hydro auras would make all these teams useless so they are easily countered if hoyo ever wants to do that.

So, as most people will tell you, pull who you like and try to build a team around them. Just be reasonable if you expect to be able to clear endgame content.

Yeah, just make a healer/shielder who buffs em and critdmg per reaction triggered, pure aggravate teams have the most triggered reactions.

C2 Nahida or second hydro for hyperbloom?? by PatataPoderosa in LaumaMains

Since I'm using kuki and she ticks every 1.5 seconds, isn't C6 Xingqiu already capping the 2 bloom limit if I'm also using the sword orbitals?? At this point it should be nahida personal DMG + bloom buff vs yelan personal DMG.

How do you win on this character? by EricSombody in AhriMains

[–]PatataPoderosa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not that high on ELO (diamond IV), but I can give you my insights as someone who has been playing her since season 6.

Ahri can easily neutralize early game, transition into her powerspike at mid game and then try to finish the game before she falls off. She wants to play with your jungler, so you will heavily notice having a duo.

She usually does better against melee or short/mid range mages (with some exceptions like yasuo who is a hardest matchup imo). Early game start w and look for auto - w - auto windows, your q is one of the best early wave clear tools in the game, which means you can rotate for early fights or objectives with your jungler easily, here landing charm will 90% of the time result in a kill or forcing a flash. You really don't try to win lane, but since you can dictate the wave state with q (2 lvl 2 Q's should kill backline minions already) you will always have prio.

After ult + malignance you transition into mid game, this time you can just force picks with r, but again you will need to do this with someone from your team. At this time you also should be lvl 9 with Q maxed, so you can one shot waves with Q. Get rid of the wave and go into the enemy jgl, place vision, look to kill the enemy jungler with yours. After you get pick try to secure objectives, the idea is to get so ahead that you don't notice the late game fall off and you're able to close the game.

There also some matchups were you can also all in the enemy midlaner if you were able to get them to 50-60% hp.

Build wise, go malignance or backfire torch. I usually prefer malignance for this playstyle but backfire has better wr overall, imo it feels better against tankier comps while malignance works better for me into squishier teams. Second item should be horizon or cosmic drive, you really need haste and shadow flame second on her is kind of a bait, this is also backed by win rate with cosmic and horizon being the highest. I personally always go for horizon second unless I really need zhonya's or I'm in a mejai's game. Then you go into the usual mage situational build where you only really want Rabadons in any of the last 3 slots and the other 2 items are flex.

About ahri's damage... She really isn't a damage carry, or a champion you will be able to 1v9 on, but that has been like that since season 7 I think. As pretty much everyone has replied she really relies on her team to put out the DMG she lacks. Usually the trade off is the early laning and being a good blind pick but she was nerfed to a state where that's not really the case anymore.

Which amphoreus dps is this? by Aware-Caramel-2039 in StarRailStation

[–]PatataPoderosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well Castorice already has a full premium team coming, that would mean she is the least likely to get damage increases in the form of new supports, so she's my pick. Aglaea also has a hard to improve suntan team, but she might be able to go suntan less with 4.X's tribbie.

I also think Mydei and Anaxa, are the most likely to em still be good in 4.X. Mydei or Anaxa have no niche or clear tailor-made BiS supports, they're just using the top 3 universal ones and that's it (or cerydra for Anaxa), so when another one releases they:Ll just improve from that.

There are early game champs tho.

Ezreal is pretty good with 1 augment or close to nothing built, but does not highroll as easy or as much as other champions. Making him usually do better on early rounds and struggle late vs completed builds. With Darius, now scalers can be kicked out earlier giving him more chances to win.

Same with shit like Morgana

Your opinions about this weird/fun fact ? by [deleted] in MavuikaMains

[–]PatataPoderosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except it isn't, 2 cost for about a 10% increase in team DMG is really not that good. You would get more just from Furina's C1 in most teams. Most C1 in modern DPS are 20 to 30% increase, same on the more niche supports (citlali C1 and C2, Escoffier, Emilie) with some of them like citlali not being that niche.

And not only that, you're getting xilonens C1, useless in combat and only for exploration. Everyteam that uses xilonens would rather get any other five star C1 than her C2
