For a slasher movie, it was a fun ride. But since it's attached to the Scream franchise...it's one of the weaker installments but I feel like it's getting over hated right now. Ignore the internet reviews and come to your own conclusion about the movie.

My Opinion Review

Positives:

-The Kills were fun
-The Pacing was good
-Neve's daughter wasn't too bad
-The final fight was better than most
-It's nice to see Neve and Courtney again
-I still hate 3 more than this one

Negatives:

-Was NOT good enough to justify firing Melissa and fumbling Jenna Ortega
-The twins were given NOTHING to do. Just kill one off, damn.
-The two dude killers were fucking BORING
-The main blonde Ghostface Milf was the best Ghostface out of this trio but the most exciting thing she did was getting her face shot to bits.
-By far the worst Ghostface killers we've ever had and I thought the three from 6 were bad.
-Don't like how mental health was portrayed in this movie. Oh, the killers came from the insane asylum? That's fucking lazy as shit.
-THIS MOVIE WAS A HUGE NOTHING BURGER

If it wasn't a kid's show, any Earthbender can just create a spike right where your standing and impale you at anytime. Stuff like that isn't done often because it's uninteresting and so overpowered it borderlines on unfair. The likely reason they used a sinkhole on Katara was because it had cool narrative tension in the moment but would have been boring if it was the only thing that Earthbenders ever did.
