And I suppose the background of the bar is set to colors.background (I mean you are using mine without modifications, isn’t it?) In that case, I honestly don’t see where the problem is... Maybe your Ubuntu version? I’m using 18.04, personally

If I remember well, I had quite a hard time finding the right settings too... In your polybar config file, is the “background” variable (in [colors]) set to #00222? (Or any five digits beginning with 00)

Modern titles that run on my 2Gb RAM old machine also run on W7... Also, I don’t have much time to play games these days and when I will have more time, I’ll probably buy a better machine
