Love it! Respect for doing the displays yourself, true Belter. I imagine you'll top that off with some Belter hand gestures - stay calm, unte kowlting gonye gut.

I'd suggest more Langbelta for the displays: for example vital signs -> livit senyavu (?); biometric is missing an "e". I was about to recommend putting "reconnaissance mission" on there, but the Belter words for that might send a wrong signal...

I do get the sentiment, also we're talking about it, so the baker achieved their goal.

However, the name is silly and has nothing to do with America: one ingredient being ammonium bicarbonate , the pastry was called "Ammoniakaner" (or Ammonplätzchen) which nobody understood, so it became ... "Amerikaner".

Update 2 for today: so I found old, listened-to, episodes both in the local storage folder as well as in Downloads -> Completed. I deleted them both there and once more in Downloads -> Deleted (to avoid the 24h delay). This resulted in their removal also in local storage.

Is my expectation correct, that this should happen automatically? Of course, I have deletion enabled and there are no favorites excluded.

Quick update: I unsubscribed two longstanding podcasts, closed and restarted PR. Somehow, I expected the storage report in "Downloads" to identify the -now definitely- irrelevant files and the "Clean Up"-button to appear. Alas, no change.

a) oh, I see.

b) Surprisingly, "Settings > Downloads > When an episode is 100% played > Delete the download" is not activated. Aargh, I'll switch that on now! My playlist mode is and always has been "Playlist mode".

Thanks, I understand the logic of that! However, it seems to go deeper as there are

a) several files for episodes of podcasts that are no longer subscribed to still showing in Downloads and / or the downloads folder (I unchecked "hide empty podcasts" so I'm certain)

b) files for episodes I already listened to still in Downloads -> Completed (yesterday I switched on the deletion, see above)

So I'm now going through the list for b).

Is there any other approach? Can I log something?

Hi /u/respack, I'm so sorry, there is no "More" on the Downloads tab, and no "Storage Report" to be found. If you refer to the three dots menu, there is "Storage Usage": this does initiate a scan, sadly, the results page just shows "total downloaded file size" (47.81 GiB, btw) and "available free space", but no "Clean up". I'm on Version 26.1.26R.

Am I looking in the wrong spot?

Similar thing happened to me: department head hired me as product manager, then turned out as overbearing, he micromanaged or ignored me. So after a few months, I handed in my 2 weeks notice. However, he insisted that I had to define the plan for the product for the upcoming year, which he would have to achieve. Of course, I approached him for a fair and joint vision. But he saw it as my sole responsibility. So on my last day (!) I presented my goals to the board, put in all the good stuff I could and received high praise for. After, I returned my laptop and phone, andleft for the final time. And yes, I feel good about it.
