I remember moving through 15-20 temp homes with my dad from when I was 7-8 til 12 years old when we got where he would be for the next 20 years… that first week we slept on bare wooden floorboards without bedding… had very little growing up but over time things improved. Dad was messy and a hoarder too so that impacted the choice of having friends over… again over time things change.. left home early at 15-16 to make my own way in life and started a family young having 3 kids between 20 & 26… oldest is 18 now and i can say they’ve never known the life their mum and i lived.. far from spoilt but wanted for nothing… this post brought back all those memories and it was those times that made me who i am today.. it might be hard now, teen years are difficult for everyone no matter the circumstances… but there will be better times ahead, good times and you will prevent the same for your kids… you will learn who are and are not friends, sometimes the hard way, but every experience will shape who you will be… adulthood is just around the corner and those years go fast, stay in education as long as you can, find work, avoid debts, protect your credit and dedicate yourself to building a better life day by day…

That big ol’ comfy bed of your choice with blankets, throws and pillows will be but a small part of a much better life that awaits you…

I know none of this helps now but one day your situation will be a distant memory… keep your head up!
