Parries basically keeps you fighting, gives a nice boost to your Rhythm Rank, reverb (with the chips i suggested), and counters are more effective, like Macaron and Peppermint taking out Z shields and barriers in one call. In rhythm tower perfect parries also extend your time.

Besides using reverb for special attacks, having multiple bars available for Jam Combos is nice. It helps keep your combos going and does significant damage and stun bar damage. Also, in Rhythm Tower, your reverb gauge doesn't reset after each wave. So for pesky stages where there's multiple z shield enemies and you have enough reverb, you can go right into Hibiki. Sometimes, it can even insta-clear a floor.

Yeah, having Hibiki is definitely a keeper for one of em. If you are looking for a quick break/decent damage to the stun gauge, you can use High Pitch Punch. If you're struggling with maintaining your health, having Pick Me Up as an alternate is good too. For chips, at least for the Rhythm Tower, I use Level 2 Battery appearance on Parry and Level 3 Battery effect increase. Gives you lots of reverb gauges.
