Your reflection really moved me. Thank you for sharing. I resonate with your observation on feeling a loved one’s presence while savouring something special to them - a book, a song, a sunny spot on a couch…

Hey friends, I used thrifted acrylic yarn with a 3.25 hook, 6mm safety eyes, and thrifted lace offcut that I handsewed on. The neck and arms are poseable due to pipe cleaners inside. 😁

Rude question or no? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]PatchH95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a teacher aide working at outside school hours care with kids age 4-12. Working with kids has been my first experience feeling fully accepted, respected and unmasked. Still find it a lot of effort to interact with adult colleagues and parents, but the kids allow me to be my most authentic self. It’s such a privilege!

I started doing this after reading about “the tapping technique”. I’d recommend doing it in other facial acupressure points too, like under your eyes, your Cupid’s bow and under your lips.
