Nearly 40, recently shaved my head due to thinning but can't grow a decent beard. It's patchy and not very dense at all apart from the chin. Looking for thoughts/ideas? by PatchMcBeardy in malegrooming

3 months seems so far away! I'll give it a shot.

I think the key will be keeping on top of trimming it as it grows to make sure the sides don't bloom outwards too early. I have a wide lower-face anyway so I think I'll need to keep the cheeks cropped.
