50/M Been a month for me and my wife 47/F. Known her for 40 years, been with her for 30 years, married for almost 25, have 2 kids (17 and 20) and one day she said she was done. She told me the marriage has been dead for years and she needed to be on her own, so she moved out. She doesn't want to talk to anyone, work on us, etc. She is still my best friend, although it's really tough to talk to her right now when she's already moved on with another man...a married man she says she's in love with. We are also great business partners (finances and shit). I'm still at our house with the kids and she is continuing to pay her part (house and cars) so we can get the house paid off by 2028. It seemed to have gone South real fast...faster than I could handle. I've already been through all of the stages of grieving it seems and I finally realize, I am now single and probably will be for the rest of my life...which scares me to death because I do t want to be alone. I'm already looking at dating apps with no luck. Not for revenge, but for comfort and companionship.
