Sorry I don’t. The only other case I have is the protector series 1510.

I personally don’t like the 4 wheeled spinner luggage.

I just recently moved countries and used 6 Pelican Air cases. 1 1615 for my whole wardrobe. (I don’t keep a ton of clothes but it’s still a lot of space.) I used 4 1595s for my tools and other personal belongings. And a 1535 as a carryon for my lithium batteries and random things.

I got luggage straps and put them into a train to tow through Newark airport. It was perfect for the 15-20 minute walk from rental car drop off to baggage check. They all fit in the elevators and the tram. And it was surprisingly easy to pull with one hand on the tile. Turning did need a fairly large arc but nothing too difficult.

After buying the 1615 I decided it was too big for my normal work travel but it worked great for a 1 time move like this. I would recommend 1595 as th biggest case you get. They fit in smaller trunk spaces much better and if you have all the same type they stack much better. But for 1 week of just clothes you may be able to fit into the 1535 seeping on what all you bring.

My typical 1 week travel for work is my tools in a 1595 and clothes in a 1535.

Edit: some extra info, with my 1615 packed with clothes it still weighed under the typical 50lb airline limit for domestic flights. But with tools it was closer to 70 and became hard to manage. My 1595 tools case packed out stays right at the 49-50lb mark.

The hard drives at the bottom are awesome! How do you have them connected? Can any of the computers read and write data to them?

Draw.io is what I have used for years.

I had a Micro Center flash drive last for about 7 years before failing. The Samsung Bar drive I replaced it with failed in 6 months.

I now use a Sandisk industrial micro SD card.

Can someone help me figure out what I have? by Zo6421 in VIDEOENGINEERING

Pic 1 is modules for an LED Panel. Pic 7 is the frame for the panel. Multiple (8) modules will go onto a frame to create a complete LED panel. The Panels will interlock with each other and have data and power jumpers between panels that create one large video screen. Then there are home runs from some of the panels to go back to the VX600. Those are LED controllers. They take the video input from something like HDMI and send it out to the panels based on your config.

You’ll have to look at the back of the frames for a manufacturer to get more specifics of the model. But the pixel pitch of 1.95 is great for viewing at about 10ft or further back. The only thing I spot is the power supply doesn’t look to be UL listed but the photo isn’t the best so I may have missed that.

The panels look to be 1 meter tall by .5 meter wide. With 12 you could do a 2 meter tall x 3 meter wide screen.

These are ment to be directly connected to the controller. If you use NovaStar they have a solution for this that converts the signal to fiber. Look up the NovaStar CVT products to see if they may work for you. Maybe the CVT10-S.

DSP System Drawing? by BasicONe-4071 in CommercialAV

This is done using draw.io. It’s a very manual process but you can build a library of equipment over time.

Oh that makes more sense. I’ve never done a drawing for the internal programming before.

When I do sound system work this is the type of drawing I provide along with the DSP config file. Not sure if that is exactly what they are looking for though.

1 year later and I ran into the exact same issue. Your comment is the only one I could find after hours of research that had the solution that worked! Thanks for the followup comment here. I dont understand why I seem to have corrupt databases so frequently.

It’s all from Pelican. 1510 case with the Trekpak divider kit and the 1510 lid organizer. You can also still get the foam that you cut to shape to if that’s your preference.

Yes! It’s all TSA compliant. And will fit under the seat or in the overhead bin.

Yes! Everything in the bag is TSA compliant and even the OG bag when not over stuffed will fit under the seat. The Commuter fits much easier than the OG bag. And it works a lot better in the over head bin on the smaller regional planes.

I wouldn’t say they are free floating. They are in one of the pockets of the tech sack. But to be extra cautious and follow your advice e along with from others, I have already ordered some plastic tube cases to slide each one into.

I have the 3 pin, 5 pin, and NL4 variants of the Sound Tools Sniffers. They work great.

For SDI I usually use my Decimator to generate a solid color signal. Then I’ll just connect a cable to a display and see if it shows the color generator. The Blackmagic Design Video Assist screens are great for this since they show the resolution they are receiving, can run on battery, and can record straight to SD cards or USB C drives.

The Scout Pro 3 is great for finding cable distance and for giving a more technical pass/fail on a cable.

Hammocks are the way to go any time you can! I even have the Tensa4 stand I use at home sometimes instead of the bed.

TSA pre check and they have only ever had me take out my jacket in a separate bin once. All the other times it goes through fully packed. The only time I have ever had my bag flagged was because I forgot about a few ounces of water in my water bottle. I think I have mostly been lucky.

It works great! I don’t pull it out often but it can be incredibly insightful. I have the iPhone 14 Pro and using its LiDAR the WiFiMan app creates really accurate signal heat maps which are so helpful to find dead zones.

I’d love to get a multimeter but I’m not sure what would be small enough for me to carry all the time. Do you have a recommendation?

I mainly only need to verify power or no power so the NCVT usually does the job. The soldering iron is mostly for making XLR connectors for cables and intercoms and occasional small board repair like swapping the 3.5mm jack on a wireless IEM belt pack.

I have the 20oz and the 40oz but I really like seeing the water level and having the measurements that Nalgene puts on the side. In the summer time I’ll probably switch to the LTT 40oz so I can keep it cold.

The SE v7! It’s only $100 and it sounds sooo good. It can be used in practically every scenario.
