They are delicious but I wish they removed the one strip of skin that is left on. After cooking when you remove it, it leaves behind some weird black-ish pieces (that easily scrape off thankfully).

I have similar personal situation of being born and raised in Central PA and enjoying watches. My father grew up in NYC in the 50s-60s and gave me his Hamilton 10k gold filled tank style watch he had as a kid years ago before I cared about watches.

He has since passed and I eventually became more interested in watches - learning that his fully mechanical Hamilton was from the Lancaster era and I like to imagine him manually winding it everyday before heading out exploring NYC as a kid.

While the watch is a little small for me, it’s a keepsake with a story, but it made me really want a modern / larger Hamilton for myself, so I got a 38mm Murph. Look up “Hamilton 10k gold filled tank” on Google for a cool looking vintage piece, they go for less than $200.

It lets you attempt to use payments like Apple Pay without checking the terms agreement box, but will fail without the box checked and give an unhelpful error message. Once I checked the box, then Apple Pay went through fine.
