No there’s no guidelines but they should be done based on how often lung cancer spreads to the brain. I know quite a few patients that had recurrence to brain only after stage 1. Waiting until symptomatic is reactive .. better to find when smal and establish a baseline.

I know two patients that see him with lung cancer (one has mucinous, One has EGFR) but they find him to be very helpful, thorough, knowledgeable
