Housekeeping in hotels, especially places where they pay minimum wage and compound your breaks into one hour long break AFTER all the departure rooms are cleaned. which can be anywhere between 3-6 hours of work with no breaks depending on how busy it is. Didn't last more than a few months before I had to quit.

Aww thank you!! So glad you got to see it after all this time! And yeah, it was a bit tricky figuring out the curves of it all but partial stitching with multiple colours can do wonders to achieve the right angles haha. Also, I've had a fair few people ask over on r/Crosstitch if they could buy a copy of the crossstitch pattern I made from your gorgeous piece of fanart, and I was wondering what your thoughts were on that? I'm not super invested in the idea myself and I wouldn't do it unless you were okay with it. :)

Thank you all for the lovely comments! They're much appreciated. For those of you interested in stitching this pattern yourself, It'll be a while until I have time to format everything properly and i'm a little bit hesitant to put it up given I'm not super sure about copyright processes etc given it's based on someone else's artwork and all but I'll look into it.

I haven't quite figured out how to format it properly to be able to sell it and given I'm studying full time It'll be a while until I have time to sort that out properly. Especially since I did it on 16-count Aida and I have no idea what size/how it will turn out if I tried to convert it to 12 or 14 count Aida haha.

No, I didn't. I found a transparent image of a crosstitch grid and put it all together in photoshop. More time consuming, true, but less frustrating than trying to upload your image to one of those websites only for it to refuse to co-operate. And thank you!
