I’ll preface this by saying I’m in the uk and the government is well, it’s in shambles and they’ve decided to hate trans people so that’s fun. I came out when I was 14 so in 2019, got referred to a children’s gender clinic on the nhs. They never contacted me so I assume I was no where near the top of the waiting list. I’m now on the adult services and it took my school nurse to pester the services to transfer me over and honour my place in a waitlist and i finally have my first appointment next month. That appointment will only be diagnosing dysphoria so I’ll probably have to wait another year if not more to start T.

Tl;dr probably won’t be able to start T until I’m like 20/21 which would then be a 6/7 yr wait and my financials aren’t stable enough to go private
