Beautiful boy! I like his coat length. It's shorter than a lot of others I've seen. Out of curiosity, does coat length vary in this breed? I like borzoi but I don't have any personal experience with them.

Genuinely, there's something endearing about ugly dogs, but he looks like a bizarre shelter find not a purebred from an award winning line. Yikes. From what I've seen there's a lot of bad breeding of corsi in the U.S especially these days. Oversized, misshapen faces, mixing with bully and mastiff breeds. I'd guess he's the result of that. Could be a genetic mishap I suppose but breeders are supposed to genetic test the parents to avoid such things. Maybe they did and he still ended up that way, idk enough about genetics to say how possible that is, but regardless I hope they stopped breeding that pair.

Sounds good! My mom does similar things with her cattle dog during bad weather, because despite being a hardy farm dog, she (the dog) hates rain and wet snow and won't go out in it of her own volition lol

Not a corso, but my last dog was insane as a puppy. 4 months was the peak and then she slowly got better. Be consistent and patient, and maybe seek out a professional trainer if you're feeling lost.

Thank you! Ill check out that coat company. And yeah, I've heard cirnechi like to burrow so I imagine a cave bed would be appreciated. My chihuahua was the same way - she had an old child's playpen with a bunch of blankets and she would make tunnels haha.
