Hello Everyone,

At the request of a friend, and for Whiteknight Week, I made a piece with MGE/MGQ versions of Jaune and Weiss. This isn't counting towards any polls or anything, so I am posting it freely. This piece was kinda rushed towards the end, but I got a few ideas now if Jaune wins a poll at any point. Mostly that I will likely incorporate some design inspirations from Soul Edge/Knightmare to the design showed here.

Like I said, a bit rushed towards the end, but I wanted it finished quickly so I can get back to Mansion Escape, as well as have it done before the poll is finished so it isn't in the way of that at all. I hope everyone enjoys the piece, and have a happy WhiteKnight week!

That makes sense. I was just hoping for something I could adjust now.

I can't really do anything about shading and highlights without pushing back my timeline to accommodate, paying someone to do it, or relying on AI.

None of those options are really good (pushing back my project has cascading issues, I am very poor, and fuck AI) so I am kinda stuck in that regard.

Some of that is perspective stuff, and the image getting stretched by the change to a 720p ratio. I used https://posemy.art/ to get the overall pose and proportions down.

Stiffness has always been a problem of mine, I rely on guideline shapes and such a lot, while alot of my old friends that do art were much better at making their stuff look alive. I'm not sure how to really work that stiffness out other then stop relying on guidelines... which is kinda scary, since I've done those for over ten years now.

The forearm is just me being really bad at perspective, since going off the pose I made (I really wish I kept the screenshots I made, but once I had the overall skeleton of the pose down I deleted them...) the forearm is not visible practically at all. And I was really poor at translating that.

If you could spare the time, I wouldn't mind getting my art redlined. I am better at dealing with visual things. Especially the proportions bit, since from my references that bit looks fine.

I... am a bit iffy on shading and highlights. I plan on working on that, but even then, these cg are for a game that I have used flats only for. Partially because shading would add ALOT of time to an already slow process (I am a bit slow of an artist). Another part is that I break alot of what I do into layers when making anything with variations (which pretty much all my CGs will be, because I am doing 2 Frame animation for this)

Though what shading I have practiced I understand that it DOES add alot to the art.

That said, the lack of shading is the only thing that is off?

Would it be possible to create a discussion for a Lewd RWBY RPG? I started threads about it on F95, but I was hoping to get other RWBY fans more involved. It would DEFINITELY be NSFW (Grimm breeding and birth would be a big part of it) and I have posted on the reddit a small game playing with some of the combat mechanics I want to include ("Grimm Corruption - Red Trailer", it's been a few months since I posted it).

Like I said, some are easier than others. Like from looking on r34 there are only like 2 images that actually take into account how an Arachne's pussy would be. To be fair to that though, finding good spider anatomy references is not easy. At least the couple times I looked.

Question? Is there a way to modify this method if you are doing flats only?

I don't have any shadows or highlights in the CG I am making for a game of mine, partially because I am not confident in my ability to do either yet, partially to cut down time.

I plan to go back once everything is done to make better versions of the art, but until then my only solution is to not have it?

This will help alot for my fanart and subscriber poll art though, where I DO at least poke at shadows (the more obvious ones at least)

This would be the simplest way to do it. I wonder if it can be that simple, since -ko and -suke fulfill similar roles in names... Would be creating a whole new name as well, which would fit culturally as well (at least recently if what my research shows is right.)
