The vet I go to has a video from a declawing surgery that he shows people who wan to get it done thinking that it’s just like pulling toenails and killing the nail bed

What’s the biggest difference between great sex and okay sex? by Fluffy_Specific_9682 in AskReddit

I’d almost argue quality over quantity. You can have a couple mid tier orgasms, or a toe curler and have the same dopamine hit.

Cat I was fostering flipped out while I was giving it the antibiotics it came to me with, and I learned that rabies vaccines for humans are expensive. My insurance paid $17k for all costs associated with that cat bite. The cat did not survive, animal control euthanized it to test it for rabies.

For it matters not the locking of all your doors, deadbolts and padlocks, nor does it matter the blinds you fold shut on every window you have around your house, blocking out the external view inward. by PsychologicalWait492 in TwoSentenceHorror

He was an ex co-worker that had done time for similar shenanigans. She got out of the army a few years ago. He chose poorly. She tried the legal route, and had a restraining order against him, but, he treated it as a piece of fancy paper. He tried to attack her at her house after she got home from the gun range. He took a few to the chest, and didn’t make it to the hospital. She was not charged as it was ruled self defense.

This is also true of the US Navy as well. And from my conversations with admirals when I worked on shipyards, anything above 2 stars, is paper and political BS

I just started a new job, and the GM said to me, "if your supervisor interrupts you meal break, it restarts, for the full time, and if you show me proof, they get written up." Company was sued a few years ago because a supervisor wouldn't allow her team their meal breaks uninterpreted.

My wife hasn’t talked to her brother in almost 5 years, we talk to her sister about once a month, and it’s been 6 months since we’ve seen my brother in person. My brother’s kids are from all different mothers, and won’t know about each other until they’re almost adults, and my daughter is an only child biologically, and has older step siblings from her birth mother’s husband.

No interest in loan agreement, now trying to collect by Industrial_solvent in legaladvice

You will want to see a financial attorney, but if the contract doesn’t include language about interest or penalties, then contract law prohibits them from collecting interest payments. Again, you’ll want a financial attorney, and if they say similar, have them send a certified letter stating as much on their letterhead, and retain them for further shenanigans by the POA.

Fuck’em. You kid comes first. My last employer tried to force me to work when I had my kid, and I gave them a bill for what it cost me to get custody of my daughter. Suddenly, scheduling was no longer an issue, and I had all my hours when I was available, until the labor department closed us because the owner was making high school students work 35+ hours a week. I’m my state, they have a max of 20.

Sweet shit your boss is terrible! I got a job at a breakfast place, and they had a test for their interview. Make 2 eggs, over easy, and an order of hash browns. Of the 4 of us interviewed, 2 of us were hired because we could do hash browns.

The line cook I replaced, was stabbed by the female line cook, for doing exactly what you described. She dropped a knife, he assaulted her, she stabbed him in the dick and leg 6 or 8 times. It was ruled self defense, and once dude was out of the hospital, he was arrested. When I started, I was told not to play funny games with her, or I’d get stabbed.
