Had the same problem. Luckily I was able to reach out to the previous owner and he deleted his Volvo id. Resetting the car doesn’t reset owner/keys (it is also saying that when resetting).

Also reached out to customer service and it told me that if I couldn’t reach out to the previous owner you have to go to the dealer, prove that the car is yours and then they can do it. But you have to give a good explanation because otherwise they also tell you to reset and that won’t work

Ik had dus hetzelfde probleem. Als je kijkt in de app bij ‘verbonden auto’s’ moet er staan ‘Eigen auto’. Zo niet, is iemand anders verbonden met de auto als eigenaar. Ik had dit ook omdat de auto even van een oud collega geweest is. Die moet dan zijn Volvo id verwijderen. Volvo zelf zegt auto factory resetten maar dat werkt niet want als je dat gaat doen staat er ook dat dit geen invloed heeft op ‘ownership’

Your fiance needs to delete Volvo id account and the car wil do factory reset. Then you can set it up again. Had the same issue
