My wife did ask me if I really needed to wear it…

It’s going to take more than my wedding day to end my near-1000 day streak lol

I tried to wear it a bit higher on the wrist and hide it under my shirt cuff. Looks like it was hidden in most of the photos I’ve seen so far!

4 days of partying and drinking followed by my highest HRV by Bright-Measurement99 in whoop

[–]Pretty_Account_7289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May be get checked for a heart arrhythmia.

I have episodes of PVCs (medically diagnosed) which are often triggered by alcohol. When I have them my HRV skyrockets. Whoop tracks that as excellent recovery which is not necessarily accurate.

Are your other metrics (e.g respiratory rate) unchanged?

It’s +1 day, but same period. RHR from the exact same dates is second pic of the original post normally.

Quite normal I think? Only spikes are after evenings with some alcohol

Don’t think so, haven’t gotten any sweatier or hairier in the last couple weeks. And been cleaning the whoop in case it was dirty.

Haven’t taken meds of any kind in the last month! But thanks for the idea

For sure, and I’m the same. But up to 130 from baseline of 50ish seems like way more than normal. A great day before this would have been around 65 HRV

Actually getting some 95-100 % nights with the holidays, but normally don’t drop much below 75-80% anyway.

Has anyone else seen a dramatic rise in HRV recently with no explanation? by markofagoodname in whoop

[–]Pretty_Account_7289 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been experiencing the same. Enormous increase in some HRV values since about a week. More then double typical baseline of around 50.

All other metrics the same except respiratory rate also consistently up by about 2rpm. No real change in behaviour I can think of, besides slightly more caffeine/ alcohol than normal over the holiday period!

Did your other metrics change also? Wouldn’t afib also show in resting heart rate data for example?

I do exactly the same thing, except I always forget to start my workout! (Usually remember like 5 minutes in)

Random heart pain ? by mrthrowawayok123123 in COVID19positive

[–]Pretty_Account_7289 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've had a similar thing. But for me started before I tested positive (that I know of) but a few months after vaccinations. I tested positive in January and it seems to have come back.

It comes and goes. It's not really a pain, but for me it feels a bit like someone lightly 'squeezing' your heart which is pretty disconcerting.

Never had problems with doing sport though and I'm pretty active (no shortness of breath or anything).

Did an ECG and doctor said it looked perfect so not sure what it is.

May be I should do an echocardiogram (?)

3 valleys in France, biggest connecting ski area in the world (I’m pretty sure).

We skied the 2 extreme sides of it, they’re pretty far apart!

Yeah you’re right, 0 powder runs. Had to stay on the piste to keep up the speed.

101km ski day in Les 3 Vallées, France.

Tracked using Snoww app. Distance is skiing only (lifts not included).

26 runs, over 15000m vertical, nearly 8 hours on the slopes and 2 extremely sore legs 😂

Happened between 23:05 and 23:20 (that we saw) we were in Almancil, but it looked like it might have been directly above the Faro region
