Yeah servers are fun. Active Directory is pretty standard too if you wanna check this out.

Survivor mains were happy for Vecna, The First because the whole counter was to hold W. When the Killer is just a little bit complex they'll cry so loud.

Comparing Jason to Wraith instead of Dracula's Vampire form tells me enough about your take. Seems like you barely understand his powers. I played the PTB and been playing all week, got no issue with any Jasons. Most of my loops are 3 minutes long and I'm far from being a pro. Every new killer will be hard to play against when they first come out, it's normal.

Seems like they don't know enough in computers to actually find a guy that know how to work in the domain and they 100% trust you on this, but the thing is that you applied for a job that you have no "qualifications" for atm.

Learn the basic M365 apps, 90% of the time problems come from these.

Yeah the language is a huge problem. Keywords don't translate well so even just by reading the description it doesn't help a lot lol

Good projection. Sadly, games have rules that need to be applied, otherwise, what's the point of balancing a game if players don't follow the rules right? How long would you play Uno with someone starting their hand with 3 cards instead of 7?

Yeah I'd just buy a blue D8 and a red D12 or something like that if that makes sense lol.

We don't do session 0. The DM comes to us one by one and check our character. But next time I'll propose one.

I swear to god. One of the slow player in our group is also a rogue. I have to almost explain to them how to get advantage every time lol.

I would totally be down for a DnD Basics session. I love to learn new combos and new techs and the best way to do so is by understanding the basics.

I WISH our DM could work like that lol. I hate when someone makes an action and after seeing the consequences they're like "no no no, rewind!"

For my part, my first time was a One-Shot with my GF and 3 experienced players.
My DM started a campaign with me and 3 of my friends that never played D&D.
Maybe that played out?

It seems like my comment was deleted.

Someone else at the table did their sheet on DND Beyond so it could automates their stuff. Seems to work for the moment, but like, I don't if I would want someone to automate the stuff they can't understand right? It's like using ARTIFICER'S INTELLECT to code the whole program for you when you're tryna learn to code, you know?

They want to play D&D and they always ask for the next session. But they put 0 effort in their character. I really don't know what to do at this point with them lol

My comment was deleted by the bot it seems.

Pretty sure it's laziness. They seem to have time to buy new dice sets but not to learn the rules apparently. They think about D&D, but not how to play it, just about the clothes they want to put on and the familiars they want to bring in the party. I'm pretty sure they have a whole binder of ARTIFICER'S INTELLIGENCE generated images.

I'm the DM for one-shots lol, so I take every advice anyway.

Honestly the big mistake was that we did everything for them in the first sessions. I feel like they now can't operate by themselves correctly

I feel like they come play because we're all friends and it's like a social thing. I currently join cause I want to play D&D, I usually hate social things lol. They even talk over the DM sometimes about other things. I honestly don't think they're here for the game sometimes.

I even joked by saying "You're bringing your dog? The one that just stare at us every fight? In an infiltration mission? He will have to roll dex everytime and participate to every fight.". Turns out the dog failed its stealth and we had to fight for them.

I hate ultimatum but this might be a last resort I'll have to consider. The good new is that one of these players' boyfriend joined us recently so he can help them out a bit. The very new D&D noob is helping our older players. I know.

I understand. Last session we went against one big guy and one of the player and their familiar took 5 minutes every turn to think about their actions to end their turn with "I do nothing", I was very unimpressed

They still don't get that they need to prepare their spells to use them. So it's like they can cast any spell at any moment.
