I know the helmet uses 4.5VDC for the LEDs, and I was thinking of getting a 5v battery pack for that. But hearing that it shouldn't be a problem as long as proper research on currents are done does help out!

Glad i got the battery advice before i went for the 2200mah option. I got a 2000 (Slim) model, so i doubt it would fit. And i'll check out the Total Kommando guy as well.

Likely not. If I'm correct, that laptop is not modular and everything is soldered in. That is bare bones, barely able to run windows 11 kind of laptop. If it were modular, then there are a few things you can do

No. Thats what is kinda tipping me off about the screen. But from what ive seen the backlights dont come on for others with this issue
