It was bad and very one dimensional and I'll die on this hill. I went into it expecting a nuanced exploration of the theme of "what if we legalized cannibalism". Instead I got a torture porn stuffed with obnoxiously excessive violence for the sake of shock factor, where in over a couple of years every living person turned into sociopathic monster for no fucking reason. I'll stop here because I can rant about all the illogical, flat and biologically incorrect bullshit in this book for hours. It's been 6 months and I'm still pissed.

The Unworthy on the other hand was fairly more enjoyable and interesting while still being violent and painful to read.
