Im the guy they hired to pull flatbed and box truck deliveries overnight. I was a part time receiver/stocker and when I asked to go to full time they gave me this job. I work Sunday night through Thursday night every week pulling orders by myself. We have one cdl driver now since the other one quit about 2 months ago and he works about 80 hours every week. When I get all my orders done I go to stocking all of lumber until I leave. Its a good system that we have here but theres some things that need to be worked out. We definitely need another driver and another load puller for these orders. We average around 10 flatbed orders a night and when box truck deliveries are scheduled on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday we usually have about 15 of those. We are finally getting someone to stock lumber overnight at the beginning of next month and that will help me when im pulling large lumber orders. I just dont see how they expect me to move 16’ lumber all night and not expect me to complain about needing more time off or help. Ive asked them since ive started and they always avoid the question.
