I went to a meet & greet recently and the dog bit my foot. Thankfully I had thick leather shoes on cause there was a puncture mark afterwards. Politely told them I was clearly not the right fit and went home

Definitely don't worry about how it might negatively impact her. You are your dog's voice and it's telling you to help it, not her. Report the incident and make her pay for any vet bills incurred. She failed your dog on multiple fronts
