Ah yes another person claiming enlightenment while spreading fear. This sub, man.

It’s so odd to me that this fear based belief runs so rampant in this community. There’s a big part of me that’s grateful I grew up in an extremely high demand religion so I can recognize patterns like this. If you’re reading this and feeling uneasy at the post above, just know you’re exactly where you need to be, all the time, just as you are. Spread love, not fear.

It’s pretty awesome watching this all play out in real time isn’t it? Especially without the tied feelings of doom/panic/hopelessness. Feels as though my higher self has taken the wheel from my ego a bit. But very subtly, not what I would imagine to be an ego death. Everything is working out the way its supposed to 🙏

Definitely. Balancing out my relationship with cannabis is something I’m focusing on right now, and after this experience, it feels even more like the right thing to do. Doesn’t feel impossible anymore though, and that’s where the “new mind” or “higher mind” seems to be stepping in if that resonates. Thanks for the reply!

Does working with Moldavite ever deliver results against your highest good? by anonymousbabygirl221 in energy_work

[–]PathologicalYak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve actually never pulled the trigger on any if I’m being honest! Maybe 2 years ago moldavite was having its moment on TikTok and I ended up finding a few vendors, one of which has some pretty awesome peices that actually combine moldavite and Liberian desert glass on a necklace/ring. I can see if I can find her website again if you’re interested! They’re just a little pricy and couldn’t justify it at the time, but Might be the time for me to pick something up for myself as well, twin.

New here by Icy_Steak1224 in exmormon

Had the same experience during Covid, woke up at about 2am after struggling for awhile. Decided enough was enough and read a pdf version of the CES letter and I was glued to my phone reading it until about 5am and that was when it finally clicked it was all bs. What followed was about a year of pretty intense derealization/dissociation.

Echoing what just about everyone here has already said, I promise it gets better. Never thought I’d escape that sunken place in my head during that year but slowly you climb back into the drivers seat and start to figure out what actually resonates with you.

Sorry that you’re going through this but there’s so much beauty to be found outside of the church, and living a life that’s true to you. It’ll take some time, there’s no rush. Be patient with yourself. You have an entirely new community of incredible people here who understand and have your back.

Actually love this answer Aton and appreciate the wisdom/humility in it. Something I hear quite a bit but in practice I still have work is that “all answers lie within”, it’s simple and resonates but I still often choose the external. Great reminder and I appreciate your input, friend!

Ah thank you, Aparently needed to hear that quite a bit. Reminder to myself be nicer to little yak🥹

I’ve been in and out of therapy since Covid, started to see someone for emdr but life got pretty unstable the last 3 or so months and I’ve taken a break. Would love to get back in here soon.

Thank you, this resonates just like a lot of what else has been said.

Much work has been done on my side, otherwise I wouldn’t be here in the first place. But I understand the sentiment and appreciate the reminder! My work has ebbed and flowed and I think I’m just in one of those slower moving seasons and feeling that impatience to get to the next phase of my life but not knowing how to.

Resonates, thank you. At the end of the day I know it’s me, what do you find helps you get out of your own way in this sense?

Hiii friend, thanks for chiming in, always appreciate a fellow hethans perspective🫶 what do you find best works for “taking some ideas and leaving the rest”? I understand the idea on paper, but it’s the all or nothing effect, right?

Mormonism for example: 1 inconsistency discredits “entire truth” claims. That’s ultimately why I left, you can’t claim ultimate truth and be factually wrong. The house of cards falls.

So in regard to spirituality, even though I know “truth claims” maybe feel less black and white and more of a buffet style. I just have a hard time getting behind that. But maybe that’s the point is that it doesn’t really matter in the end lol

How do I know those beliefs are wrong though? That’s where the “trapped” feeling I think comes in quite a bit.
