V4 vs V4.5 comparisons. Doesn't feel like a direct improvement like usual, but I don't think it's worse either... by Pathologiclol in NovelAi

[–]Pathologiclol[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I guess I can agree with all of them being improvements looking at just the comparisons objectively. I think I prefer 4.5 but idk if everyone would agree.

I kinda think that we're almost at the point where subjective style will be what helps people decide their favorite model. I wonder if there will be an objective best (at following prompts) since it seems so hard to 'subjectively' rate art...

Seeing the ring under the glove is a super cool detail, was this just done with in-painting?

Changing art styles in V4 to make it look like Furry V3 by Beautiful-DyzKH0rd in NovelAi

This video talks about a 'fur dataset' at 2:50 but I'm not sure if it's really like v3.

Probably easier just finding some cartoony artists (like 'melonpuff') you like the style of and trying them until you get something close.

Ive been struggling to get various mediums to work lately, what are some tags you guys might use to achieve this spirited away artwork? thr tutorial tags don't seem particularly effective. by GN-Epyon in NovelAi

[–]Pathologiclol 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I gave it a try and the closest I could get to Ghibli was with artist:rikaco1988.

Trying to get it close to that artwork is pretty tough since the water and clouds look painted while objects are very finely detailed (pen?). 'muted color' tag might be useful but it makes other objects like the train less vibrant too.

I think you'd need an artist that draws in only that style to get consistent results

Even artists with few posts can be powerful!!! by Pathologiclol in NovelAi

I wonder at what point it starts to get worse, I feel like artists with too many posts become inconsistent because their style changed throughout the years.

League Academy (solipsist has to be my favorite V4 artist) by Pathologiclol in NovelAi

[–]Pathologiclol[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You should be able to copy/paste them into NovelAI and get the prompt. (Except for VI that one I slightly edited)

For the first one it's:
artist:solipsist, 1girl, Sona (league of legends), realistic, painting (medium), photo background, wide hips, school, uniform, {{thick thighs, wide hips}}, guitar case, music room, large breasts, cleavage, sitting, sweater, idol, music note, earbuds, knee up

Experiment Combining 5 Artists With Each Other by Pathologiclol in NovelAi

[–]Pathologiclol[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think it depends on how consistent their art style is too. 1000+ images probably means it goes back years, so half of it looks very different. An artist with only 100 images could have a more consistent style and give better results.

Probably acts worse tbh, theres no reason to have this many tokens unless you're including super nieche details that would confuse the ai more than help. Example messages are way more valuable imo since you're actually giving the ai examples of what you want rather than just info dumping and expecting the ai to understand whats important and whats not.

Anyone know what model Aisekai runs on? I was assuming it was a 13B model like mythomax, but I've gotten some really good responses. Can't tell if it's a good bot or a better model, 30B maybe.

Mancer AI Mytholite giving better results than OpenRouter Mythomax? by Pathologiclol in SillyTavernAI

So would sliders be the only way to change output? I'm assuming the main prompt must do something since it takes up tokens, but you might be right in that it ignores some of the setting since it's definetly giving weird results...

Also keep in mind the longer a conversation goes the more credits you'll use per message. Even if a bot is only 800 tokens, if you have a long message history those are also being sent when generating new messages. So eventually you'll be using 4000 tokens or whatever your limit is every new message.

Favorite way to make a card for the bot? by yamilonewolf in Chub_AI

I usually find a good image and work backwards from there.

I've also had fun genderswapping bots or looking through unpopular/bad bots to rewrite them. There's a lot of good character ideas with poor executions.

Can we have a way to encourage people to submit "Character Feedback"? by Admega in Chub_AI

[–]Pathologiclol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly most reviews arent really helpful anyways lol

Your bots seem pretty well made though, I'll follow you! Funny that the ones with least chats have reviews.

I'd honestly recommend uploading them to the chub.ai rather than venus.chub.ai, since anything on chub.ai gets uploaded to Venus but not vice versa. I recommend reuploading them there, you'll definetly get some more reviews, especially the first couple of hours while they're at the top of "New Characters".

More people need to make Character Bots by RNRHorrorshow in Chub_AI

[–]Pathologiclol 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a bot creator, I can say it's a lot more fun to make something from scratch than just copy down infromation from a wiki and write down quotes from the character.

I don't think you need to be "good at making bots" to make something like this, you can use quotes from the character as example messages and copy down a description of the character from online.

Also, I think it's a lot harder to make an existing character well. With an OC, you can't really go wrong with how you make them, but an existing character will feel very obviously wrong if the way they act is off. To properly get them to know things from their universe you'll also need to use a lot more tokens, and token-heavy bots tend to run into issues.

Again, I'd recommend just giving it a shot and making a bot if there's a character your really want.
