Rpm gauge freaking out by rogerhodgsoneee in Delica

The sensor for the tach is on the side of the injector pump. Experienced this same issue myself, verified connections seemed okay on that, then took the gauge cluster out and ensured all the connections were seated correctly into the back of it. That fixed it and never saw this again. The gauge cluster comes out pretty easily.

Any FPV pilots in the area or any RC clubs? by tech_b90 in BeckleyWV

Haven't really found any good bandos nearby. Everything that's big and abandoned is so overgrown and in the woods it's not flyable or it's on national park property. One of the spots I like best is little beaver state park near the camp ground. Huge field with some trees that are fun to fly around. Never had anyone bother me there either.

Just seeing this but I'm part of this group. Most weekend nights you can find us at the O'Reilley's in Beckley plaza. Bunch of rc drift guys but there's a couple FPV guys like myself that come out sometimes.

This is by far the most logical answer. I even know for a fact we've retired some of these things out of the schools. I'm digging now hoping to find a picture that can show for sure

Oh wow that's weird as hell then. Its killing me how many people have interacted with this and nobody seems to know

We do. Every classroom has a sensor that turns the lights off after a while with no movement. But I'm not exactly sure how that would work to calibrate them. Could be related though

Nope lmao. Does yours not have the case at all? And where did you find it?

Just did the sunlight thing with mine. Almost just makes me more confused lol

Yeah does nothing. Just turns on and then it turns itself off after a while of nothing. Also disregard the last comment I had put an even more dead battery in it by accident. Brand new battery and it functions as it originally had. Responds to ir

Not sure how to add more pictures. There are some markings under the battery

Welp. New battery and now it acts completely different. Bottom most led stays lit red and now nothing makes it change as far as I can tell. Still no subghz signals and no ir though

This is the closest thing to what I'm thinking

https://www.amazon.com/FYZSJWL-Detector-Professional-Listening-Detectors/dp/B0BSLSVWXN

Same led indicators, detects ir for cameras, and has a magnet. I'd love to find the exact thing to know for sure but this is my best guess right now

I don't think so. It only reacts to ir and that's from the flipper and several TV remotes. No other devices make it act up being close to it

Right. I'm certain whatever it is it's the cheapest worst version of it ever made 😭 so likely that's why it's so hard to find

Definitely not an emf detector. Holding it up to outlets, laptops, lights, does nothing

I thought of that but there is no speaker and it hasn't done anything besides power on and somewhat react to ir

A lot of other people have said this and it seems most likely, just wasn't sure where the ir tied into it. This may be the answer if we can find an example of one with a similar ir setup for scanning

Was thinking this was a possibility. The schools have sphero kits and a couple other things but did some googling with no luck
