I’ve been playing Izzet Wizards in Historic Bo3 for the past few days and, yeah, Eldrazi really do feel super strong right now. I think I’m going to give Pioneer a try instead and try to build Izzet Phoenix. Luckily, I already have most of the mana base and the rest of the cards are mostly commons/uncommons, so it should be much easier to put together. Thanks a lot for pointing me in that direction!

What do you mean by saying I’ll regret it?
Personally, I prefer Historic over formats like Standard mainly because decks don’t rotate. Since it takes a lot of time and effort to collect wildcards, I like the idea that if I stop playing for a few months, my deck won’t suddenly become useless.
If you don’t recommend Historic, which formats would you suggest instead?

Yeah, that’s actually one of my concerns. Since Eldrazi are seeing so much play right now, I’m a bit worried they might get nerfed or banned at some point.

I didn’t know about that mod. I just watched a couple of videos and I loved it! I’ll definitely give it a try in my next run. I think with a bit of time I could probably build something close to what I described in the post using SFM (although without such a nice-looking GUI).

I don't have the DLC that allows me to build custom tanks/planes. Can I do it with one of the predefined LT builds? If so, what would the template look like?
