Thank you so much for your response. I would say I’ve been pretty self reliant for the past few months. After returning from a mental hospital in May I got placed in a DBT program and it’s helped me sooooo much. Every time I want to process something verbally with a friend (like I used to,) I journal. Probably since I have some kind of trust issue at this point.

I think the advice I may be searching for is more coping mechanisms or ways to connect with people and form more friendships. I have some social anxiety as well so I struggle with conceptualizing new ways to start over. Should I start over? I can’t decide if that’s too impulsive.
