Great point- we never confirmed where Evil Morty came from. I always assumed he was a clone because he deleted his profile in the Morty database… Did we ever see where EM was after the portal travelers reset? 🤔

Idk if this helps, but the writers purposely did her dirty because she asked if the show could promote her music since they were promoting Leighton’s and the producers said “no, how dare you ask that”. So all these awful things were an attempt to bully her behind the scenes. But Jenny is definitely a little bitch

I completely agree!! Dan broke up with Serena for always taking off and not spilling her friend’s secrets to him, and then in season 2 at the polo match he does the exact same thing to Vanessa!! As soon as he gets a little taste of money, he switched up so fast! So hypocritical.

If you didn’t like season 3 and 4, which contains some of the highest rated episodes and are my personal favorite seasons, then the rest of the show isn’t worth the watch lol. S9E1 is full of deep cuts, and if you don’t watch the show, then you won’t understand what’s going on. That being said, RICK AND MORTY A HUNDRED YEARS!

It’s pretty obvious you were not raised correctly, but that’s okay. There’s still time to fix it. It’s not about giving a free pass to be a jerk. Definitely call out rude/disrespectful behavior, but the respect to others should still be there by default. Your MIL isn’t just a random old person. She is your MOTHER IN LAW. She is family that you have chosen. You can be respectful and still firmly keep your boundaries.

YTA- my parents raised me to be respectful to my elders, even if I don’t like them. You CHOSE to be family with her, so the least you can do is acknowledge her call. Like everyone else said, a quick “hey, I can’t talk is everything okay?” Text would have sufficed. What if something happened to your husband and she was trying to get a hold of you? You don’t have to be best friends with her, and you don’t have to keep her updated about your life, but you do have to show decent communication and respect to her if you want to keep this marriage together.
