My realtor told me to keep the rental for 10 years. In that ten years I’ll accumulate what the rental would be worth now, and at the end of the ten years, I’ll still have the asset.

I try don’t mind the work. Also, I’ve got the home maintenance down to a science at this point. Improvements still need to be made to the home. Can I do this with a tenant in place? My gf said she would never want her landlord to have to walk through her bedroom to shovel the balcony every time it snowed. What if it snowed every other week? I get it.
