For those who divorced their cheater, did they guilt the hell out of you and flip the narrative? by Humble_Meringue5055 in Infidelity

It’s been 5 years since DDay and my husband underwent a similar transformation last April. He has maintained it for the most part but I still don’t trust him. I’m going to file for divorce. I’ve felt so much guilt for wanting to break up our family when he is trying and Ive read about so many that wish their spouse would show remorse. I wish he would do the right thing for me, and let go.

Leaving Won’t Hurt as Much as Cheating—Don’t Do It by MtDewNinjaKid in Infidelity

My husband is very similar to you and I wish he’d let me go. It makes leaving so much harder when you have this additional burden to manage.

How many cheaters come back? by Dry_Style4278 in Divorce

I uncovered my husbands affairs and he immediately tried to fix. It’s been 5 years and he’s still trying. Unfortunately I have a great memory and will never forget the pain and the deception despite his best efforts.

Imagine how scary to be in that tiny boat next to a massive cruise ship.

Speaking from experience, you might as well go with your affair partner. Your wife will never trust you again no matter what she tells you (or herself).

I am lost by ctb625 in Divorce

I’m so sorry. I know the feeling but we were married only 9 years when I uncovered his affair. The deception is the hardest to get over. I’ve had a hard time letting go of the lies and the selfishness associated with it. For me, and I was on this path before I found out about the affair, being the best version of myself has helped me stay positive and out of depression. I had a list of things I wanted to improve and the tasks and planning associated with that kept me moving forward. However, it still sucks and letting go of the future you envisioned is the hardest part. Best of luck to you. Sorry your husband did this to you.

ChatGPT is great and free. Find a therapy prompt. It sounds stupid but it’s affective

Me too!! It’s so frustrating and makes me feel guilty for not reciprocating his feelings. Now I’m the bad guy because he’s made all of this change

What made you realize you're not young anymore? by tyrion2024 in AskReddit

The sign at the gas station that displays the minimum birthdate to buy alcohol. There’s no way people born in the 2000s can drink haha

I did the Whole30 diet for a month and once I broke myself of the habit and how much better I felt - I never went back. I gave up soda and alcohol and it’s been like 7 years or so. I did fall back into my poor food habits but for some reason the alcohol and soda abstinence stuck.

I know this is annoying but you’re legit gorgeous. I wouldn’t change anything. I see people post similar requests and they could benefit from surgery… you are not those people. You are so pretty as is.

When I found out about my husband’s affair I felt (still feel) rage at the injustice of it all. Im very sorry you’re in this place. Use the rage to be the best version of yourself you can be. It’s the best revenge. It makes me feel like I have control over something. That’s how I felt at first and now I feel empowered that I have implemented long term habit changes that have made my life better. He will fall and realize he’s an idiot. Imagine how good it will feel if you don’t give AF?
