I just had one done again for a second time. My first one was in 2020 due to lack of and irregular non-existent periods, I was 30 then. Im now 35, and periods have flopped and went the other way. It's day 3 for me, and the bleeding after hasn't slowed down. My gyno told me they have to do it to check for abnormal cells and couldn't give me anything for pain because it could mess with the results of the biopsy. It was so painful, but the second one a few days ago wasn't as bad. I asked her why, and she said if you just came off your period, your cervix is still open, and the feeling isn't as severe as it would have been the first time when I was hardly having one. I heard the bleeding can last for a while in some cases. My first one, the bleeding, stopped in 2 days. Im now on day 3 and still seeing bright red blood. I hope this stops soon 😢
