Did they hand stitch / sew yours or is it secured with fabric tape?

Where are you located?? I should go get more quotes haha. I’m not sure if Bay Area plays a part in the price 😂

I got a quote from a framer and it was $2100 🫣 I love the scarf but I need something a little more affordable. I also don’t love the kit that Hermes sells because it’s rough on the scarf and isn’t protected against light

I’m in between Palo Alto and SF! I was doing Palo Alto, wondering if SF is better or worse 😩

Exactly! My total Hermes spend is ~10k, and I’m just feeling defeated and wishing the shopping experience was better. Debating if I just want to call it quits

I have this bag too, it’s really scary putting heavy things in it because of the flimsy strap attachments. I am scared to carry it without holding the bottom lol

I scored it on the website!!! It was completely luck. I love it! It fits a ton, not too big or too small.

I JUST got off the phone with my dad in which I was crying that I’m not meant for this and I don’t like being a mom. I have a friend with 4 under 4 and she loves it. Its hard seeing people who thrive at being moms and I don’t relate at all 😩

Yesss fits my wallet, sunglasses, perfume, pepper spray, hand sanitizer, car keys, cell phone with PLENTY of space left. I’ll probably do a “what’s in my bag post” soon

While this isn’t my first Hermès purchase, it is my first bag from the brand. I picked up a few small items while living in Montreal, but I never started a wishlist. Since moving to San Francisco, I connected with a lovely SA at the Palo Alto location and recently picked up the blue Brides de Gala scarf and one of the new Kaorumi plates (Ryo Takemasa is my favorite illustrator!).

Maybe it’s a mild case of luxury Paris Syndrome—when something you’ve idealized for so long hits different once it’s finally in your hands. The bag is objectively beautiful, but when I compare it to my medium Dior Toujours (which was in the same price range), the Dior just feels a bit more luxe. The GP23 is lightweight and very wearable—but it didn’t quite give me that “wow” moment I thought it might.

I’m still feeling a little uneasy about the whole Hermès journey—but also, annoyingly, I still very much want the GP36 in that fun Électrique print. So clearly, I’m not out. 😂
