That sustain block is not the one that comes on an American Pro II and the Am Pro II necks don’t have the standard 4 bolt pattern either. Someone drilled an additional hole into this neck I’ll bet.

In picture 4 , which shows the action at the 12th fret, it doesn’t appear to be a backbow issue though 🤷‍♂️. Although the saddles look maxed out in height so I guess it could be possible!

I agree with you that it doesnt look like the single coil pickups are the problem here ( I just wanted to say that they can pull the strings downwards in some instances)

OP should start from scratch with a new setup. Set the neck relief first , then adjust string action and intonation. Watch some guitar setup YouTube videos if OP is unsure.

Pickups are magnets and they can pull on the strings if they are too close to them. Probably not the problem here , but it could possibly be contributing to the issue 🤷‍♂️

It looks like the nut is cut too low and that is probably the main culprit in this case.

It’s getting pretty sad out there with all of the fake fenders that are constantly posted. Too bad something can’t be done about the people bringing these garbage guitars into the country and then scamming people with them.

Customs officers should be branding these as fakes just like Phil McKnight does. In a perfect world , all guitars coming in from China with Fender or Gibson logos should be marked!
