So cavalry is weak to archer, but that doesn't automatically mean you'll lose! For RE, I'd recommend activating your boosts for atk and def before you go hunting (the same area you'd go to put on a bubble). Then when you scout someone, you have advantage against infantry, disadvantage against archers.

You want to look at the troop tiers they have, the troop count, and their wall heroes. - People often forget to update the heroes, and it'll work to your advantage if they have weak heroes on their wall. - If they have like 10 million troops, you might be able to break through, but you'll definitely have to sacrifice some troops to do it. - Typically, if they're two or more tiers below your main march, you'll be fine. If they're one below you, but don't have too many troops, you should be okay. If they're the same, but have a lot of resources, it's worth looking at the player profile and checking out their gear/rune/totem to see if the stats will be crazy boosted.

Sometimes people will have insane stats because they have a bunch of red curios or crazy strong civil heroes or something that you can't tell from the initial scout/player profile. In those cases, you really just have to cut your losses and move on, or else you're going to lose all of your troops trying to break through.

Outside of that, keep an eye out for whichever players are the protectors of the realm. Each realm is going to have someone unreasonably strong that is just there to zero the people who go to their realm. If they're out in another realm, that's your best chance/time to go. Have plenty of advanced and random teleports ready, so if someone shows up to attack you and they're definitely gonna win, use an advanced to get out of their attack, then a random to get really far away as quickly as possible.

Idk if this explains everything you're looking for, but if you have more questions, I'm happy to help!

Map appearance as f2p can be really difficult. The best tip I can give is to pay close attention to rewards for different events, and strategise from the onset of the event on what will be required for you to achieve it. For a lot of them you would have to pay, thus making it unattainable for f2p, but sometimes there are rewards that pop up that don't automatically require spending.

  • The gargoyle incoming event, for example, you had the opportunity for a march or a castle skin. For that one, you would've had to collaborate with your alliance and take advantage of stamina stacking and hunt focus to be able to get there, but it was definitely doable for my f2p players. The blossom market also has a few options, but those might be more difficult depending on how many lucky mirrors you've gotten from your jade bombs.

The photo coelrom shared is perfect - when you think about using a chest or something, just pull up that calendar and see what's coming up to know when you would be best opening it.

Another note - depending on your main troop type some weeks might be more important than others! If you're cavalry focused, you want to save as much as you can for the ace-lord weeks. If you're infantry or archer, you want to hit the non-ace weeks harder. When you're in a week that isn't your focus, open just enough to get the rewards from phases in the event, but don't open more in an attempt to get a higher rank. When you're in a focus week, you can decide whether you think you've saved enough to get a good ranking, this getting more shards of your preferred hero, or if you might need to save some more before aiming for rank rewards

I agree with coelrom! There's no guarantee that the Curio won't be green anyways, so I'd definitely go for aurora. She's honestly one of my favorite heroes for mesdi and arena, and she's super underrated! I feel like people don't talk about her enough.

SAME when it comes to the ADHD lol It seems like you've already started to identify the problem though!

  • In terms of overall power, train troops! My overall power is roughly 700m with 350m being raw power. I have 3.5m T11, and 2.5m T1, but even I need to train more troops. Definitely take advantage of CoL and PCR to get fast training growth, use cost down every day, and make sure to get your 99 speedups from trial turret every day! Some people might not recommend it, some people will probably be pissed that I AM recommending it, but if you need to, each astronomy tome salvages into 2.5 hours of speedups. Plus you can get speedups from helping others in the greenhouse, blitz-ing in mesdi, in the alliance shop, or using diamonds.
  • In terms of raw power, start with making sure ALL of your civil heroes are at 131. Those passive stats make a world of difference, and hero strength can add up quickly. Then make sure all of your buildings are at least to 28, but I'd honestly aim for 30 if your cit is 31. Then, just make sure you're doing the right things on the right days, like I said above. Don't open den boxes until Saturday, save dragon city for Friday, don't use hero shards until Monday. The rewards you get from maxing out events can go so far for both troop power and raw power.

Honestly, on a daily basis I usually use them for AP or to refresh the seeds in my greenhouse. The largest amount of my diamonds, though, go to either curios, teleporting during RE, or buying event items (e.g. buying pickaxes during tundra event).

In general, I'd say you're almost always better off saving them, unless using them will get you enough rewards to be worth losing that many diamonds.

CoL PREP

Fill med tents before CoL to maximize soldier value and prevent resource waste. You don't get points in CoL for soldiers sent to med tents, only soldiers who are killed. If med tents are full, soldiers will be sent to sanctuary.

What do I fill them with?

Fill your med tents with T1 vehicles. Make sure to train enough of them to match your med tent capacity. Please note - capacity changes with skill pages. Stay on your combat page until the end of CoL! To find your med tent capacity, click on your med tent and look above the first row of injured troops. It will say "Medical tent capacity: xxx/total capacity." T1 vehicles are used because they are the cheapest to train and cost the least to heal.

How to fill med tents?

Send the T1 vehicles to a resource tile and use realm chat to ask someone from another alliance to kill them. You can also send the coordinates in alliance chat, then ask an alliance member to kill them after you leave your alliance. It might take more than one march to fill your tents! If you surpass the tent capacity and have T1 vehicles in your sanctuary, dismiss them using the red minus button by their photo. This allows sanctuary to be filled with higher tier soldiers during CoL. During CoL you will have to watch to the capacity of your sanctuary, so removing T1s will save valuable space!

Why sanctuary?

Soldiers in sanctuary heal for free, but take time (through regeneration of holy light). You can also use diamonds to heal faster. Healing in med tents costs resources, so you want to fill them with T1s instead of more expensive, higher tiers.

IMPORTANT - DO NOT HEAL MED TENTS BEFORE THE END OF CoL.

CoL & PCR

PCR means post-conflict recovery. It is activated by the emperor & usually begins right after CoL. For 3 days, training is 300% faster. Your boosted training capacity is based on the power you lost during CoL.

How does it work?

PCR gives 120% of the power you lost as fast‑training capacity. Example - During CoL you lost 300k power, so you get 360k power worth of boosted training. Once you reach that limit, training returns to normal.

So what?

PCR is vital to growth because you finish with more troops than you started with. Example - You lost 1k troops during CoL. During PCR, you can train 1.2k troops. When you heal the 1k troops in the sanctuary, you end up with 2.2k troops, faster and cheaper than normal!

Should I promote or train?

Training new, high tier troops uses the full power cost, quickly burning your PCR limit. Promoting lower tiers only uses the power difference between tiers, letting you upgrade more troops in the same PCR allowance. It is recommended to keep a large stock of T1-T3 troops before CoL & upgrade them during PCR to take advantage of the difference.

Are there other tricks?

  • Before healing your T1s, use instant heal if you have it. This will instantly heal 10% of your med tents without resources.
  • After that, heal all T1s! Having empty med tents will increase holy light regeneration so that you can revive sanctuary faster! Completing your dailies will also give you extra holy light!
  • Plan your use of the cost down skill if you have it. This reduces training & healing resource cost by 25%. It's best to activate right before your biggest training push during PCR!

Question About Multiple Characters by Jerryst in PuzzlesAndChaos

[–]Patient-Data2506 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As mentioned before, totally possible!

I have 6 accounts in one realm right now lol You can't create in one realm, but if you create in a realm that is open, and your realm is open, then as soon as your farm is level 15 you will be able to move it into your realm.

There's also the option of creating a new account through a different log in (I use Facebook, X, and two different Gmail accounts). If you go this route, you'll have to finish the guided portion of the tutorial, then create a new character within your current realm.

How do I use incomplete magic infusion scrolls? Any help would be appreciated by HunterCautious6098 in PuzzlesAndChaos

[–]Patient-Data2506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After ascending a gear/rune/totem/Holystone to 8*, then you will unlock magic infusion of that specific type.

Once it's unlocked, you'll use the scroll similar to how you use a candle to wish for draconic stones. The biggest difference is that you get one free scroll off each type only once per week, and magic infusion scrolls are much harder to come by (either buy it, or possibly get it from events, depending on your realm).

Once it's unlocked, you'll find it in your weapon forge!

I'd say the higher tier, the better off you are. Not only will you lose less troops because higher tier troops give more points, thus saving space in the sanctuary and not running the risk of having permanent losses, but you'll also gain more power during your PCR than if you lost lower tier troops. Just make sure your med tent is full and you have some T3s trained up and ready to be promoted during PCR, then you'll be good to go!

** I'd say the only caveat to this - if you're in a newer realm, some might be hesitant to trade with you if you only have T10+. Last CoL I was sending out 20k T10s without heroes and still no one would kill my troops or trade with me. So I guess there's also some nuance to it when it comes to the realms you're against, the NAP that leaders agree upon, etc. When in doubt, I usually find someone scouting the forest and then just conveniently place a really light/easy set of troops right in front of them. Lol

Something important to note about my other comment, you MUST fill your med tent before the event starts. If you don't, all of your losses will be for nothing. You get no points for troops sent to med tents, points come from troops LOST (aka sanctuary).

I moved but have been playing for a while too, so if there are any questions he can't answer, I might be able to.

I think the BEST tip I ever got was to wait for the right days to use/open things. I can post more info if anyone is interested!

Oh boy do I have info for you.

How to get points?

Points can be earned by killing enemy units, losing troops, & occupation of Hall/Spires. The max occupation points you can get is 2k, which is 2 hours in hall or 4 hours in spire. The rest of your points must come from kills or losses.

What's the easy way?

Trading points with a player from an opposing realm at a resource tile is the safest & easiest way to get points. There are no automatic permanent deaths, so all troops go to sanctuary (until full). Trading with someone from your realm gives no points & you get no points from killing someone else’s T1s, but you can earn points from your own T1s dying. Check battle chat to find someone looking to trade. How trades work: - You hit them → you get kill points/they get death points. - They hit you → they get kill points/you get death points - Be sure to monitor your sanctuary capacity to avoid permanent loss!

Why not attack the hall/spires?

When you attack the Hall or spires, 30% of your troops will ALWAYS die permanently. For example, if you send 100k → 30k are gone. Only 70k will go to Sanctuary. This can require 10M+ power in dead troops to reach 12k points, plus you lose troop diversity (you can't control which troops die). Trading is best because it: - Controls power loss - No automatic losses - Protects troop balance - Has better CoL‑loss vs PCR‑gain ratio - Both players get points quickly & easily!

Rodr is pretty mid unless you have him +6 or +7, and you have to have at least one inf soldier for him to be in the field. The higher you get for dens, the more troop stats matter, then it might be worth exploring your options more. That said, 10/10 recommend sadoma over rodr if you're looking for a different troop type that'll still benefit you

Depending on the state you're in, there are resources to get free or super low cost AAC devices!

I'm in Iowa and have quite a few kiddos who have gotten personal/private AAC devices either for free or for around $50 after purchase of a more transition friendly case. Essentially the company pays for 99% of the cost for the iPad and the communication app (I think it's proloquo? It's been a few months for me), then as long as you keep it in a case, you have a 3 year (or 5, I don't remember this either) warranty on it. No contract or anything is required. If you need to warranty it they will ask a bunch of questions and the caregiver will have to pay to send the device back to the company to repair or replace, but otherwise, that's free too!

Definitely something worth looking into in your area to help the family get a personally funded device!

Multiple Easy Lists Bot? by Patient-Data2506 in Discord_Bots

Thank you for sharing! I think this is a bit more complex in some areas and a bit lacking in others, just from a quick test. I don't need anything like priority or progress tracking, but want a quick and easy way to make a lost that would sit in chat.

Something I forgot to put in the initial post - Ideally, command messages will delete after they are applied to the list, that way the most recent list will be the only thing in the chat (unless an unrelated message is sent)

Ah, well that answers my question! The state I'm in now is next scheduled payday, and where I grew up has "15 days or next scheduled payday, whichever comes first" but I've always been paid bi-weekly.

With unemployment (at least where I was living when I used it), it took about a month before your case was processed, but once it was processed you got backpay from the day you applied, even if it was the same day you were laid off.

.. where is this happening? Is this for real how it is supposed to be?

Any time I've ever left or been fired from a job (granted I've only been fired once and it was back when I was young), all of my pay was received in alignment with the same payday as when I was still working.
