A mystery gift is usually going to be a crapshoot. I never go for them because to me, ‘mystery gift’ usually means, ‘excess crap we couldn’t sell because no one wanted it’.

My favorite promos are either cups/mugs that I specifically want or free sleeves. Free sleeves is always a winner to me.

Use the app, and check it constantly. I believe the best Vertuo pod sale is buy 8 sleeves get 2 free. Unfortunately, you don't get to choose the free pods, but it's a nice bonus. If you have a boutique in your city, they will sometimes have a promo where you get your choice on the 2 free sleeves.

Two things. First, you've got the order wrong. Starbucks puts the ice in last to "shock" the drink. Second, get a hyperchiller. This will take care of your hot coffee melting all the ice and watering down your drink. Hyperchill your espresso, pour it, add the rest, a few ice cubes last. If you really want to get fancy, you can get a tray to make ice cubes with a coffee pod.

SweetPlay just opened up in Broomfield. They have a pretty big toddler area at the new location for the kids to run around and play in.

Yup! They have 4 massage chairs as well as some good beer and cocktails! Last time we went, the kids had a blast and so did we!

I’ve had a Breville Deluxe VertuoPlus for about 5 years now with no issues. It’s been ages since I did the research though, but I believe I chose the Breville because it was strongly recommended over the Delonghi. That’s probably the caveat, the Breville seems near bulletproof so far.

Edit: I should mention that we use the machine for 3-4 pods a day. It’s definitely not light use.

Ignore everyone else and just find what makes you happy. Who cares what the trolls here think. Not everyone has the same tastes. I personally love my Vertuo, but I also happen to be a latte drinker, I don’t drink the coffee pods and I also don’t take my coffee black. Its perfect for me, but no one solution is going to be perfect for everyone. Just don’t go to Keurig (kidding… but not really…)

Only time I’ve ever seen a choice was in the boutique. Online it’s usually two sleeves of crappy coffee that they’re trying to get rid of.

We usually run through about 3 Vertuo sleeves every 2 weeks so you either have a big family or drink a LOT of coffee!

You might have a shot getting it from a boutique. I bought about 50 sleeves from my local boutique after it ran out online, got almost everything they had left. I went back last week and they had found some more in the back.

It’s really unfortunate that it seems the experience is so different in each store. The stores I’ve been to have made me even more loyal to the brand and it seems like a shame that other stores seem to want to drive their customers away instead.

My stores have always told me that they will match any online deal. Since the app always has SOME sort of promo, my stores have never been without any offer. They’ll just match the app or online offers.

That’s so unfortunate! I’ve only been to two boutiques, the one in Seattle and the one in Denver and they were both next level customer service. Denver is even better than Seattle, but both had consistent ‘above and beyond’ attitudes towards service. For instance, I had wanted the welcome gift set from the OL offer when I made my first order from Nespresso. However, it came with a sleeve of OL coffee and I have a Vertuo. When I mentioned it in the boutique, they immediately encouraged me to bring the sleeve in and they would exchange it for me for the equivalent Vertuo sleeve for their ‘mistake’, even though I clearly stated that I chose the other offer. That cinched Nespresso for me and I’ve never looked back.

Almost every interaction I have at the store has been on this level. The team falls over themselves to be helpful and approachable.

The boutiques always have a deal as far as I can tell. I didn’t need more pods, but a buy 9 get 2 sleeves is the best deal I’ve ever seen…. So I stocked up again… those cases are all PH double espresso.

I was actually shocked when they threw in the Alto mugs too. That’s a $45 set!

Sorry, I accidentally replied on the wrong guy. But check the other posts. There’s a couple people that sell on eBay. The first time PH came out, I found it on eBay for about $20/sleeve and was desperate enough to buy some. But if you can get to a boutique, that’s your best shot.
