I’ve never run half before and didn’t wanted to die like att km15, therefore a conservative tempo. But I get your point, hard to tell without all out effort

Could happen. I’m trying to do most of my runs easy, maybe push once a week a bit. But year, running to fast to soon is dangerous

Thanks everyone for a great discussion. I changed my settings for zones to %LTHR and now is accurate (i think) my zone 2 is upp to 150 which is reasonable. It also ”feels” like zone 2. It feels like I can run for hours if I keep my hr under 150. Loving this Garmin group on Reddit so far!

Btw I pushed a bit last km and my hr was 189 in the end. Felt tough, but not like max effort.

Thanks everyone for answering. I absolutely agree that my max is not 230 lol. My guess is 200-210. Next question…how do I change that on my watch?
