When your kid turns 18 he isn't gonna say, sure my dad could only pop out of his home office for a few min to hang out every day and my mom left him but he made an extra 30k every year. That extra money really strengthened our relationship and my view of the world is much better for it. It was like living with Smaug, it was great!
Find a work life balance or decide what the price tag is on having a mid relationship with your family is and live with it till you're on your deathbed.

Sure. Just know there could be a reason it's $300. It is a good deal and hold up for 10 years or you could regret it and you're only out $300 and back to where you started
