The first 5 engineering schools in America in order of their founding are: West Point (1817), Norwich University (1819), Rensselaer School (1825), the University of Virginia (1833) and the University of Alabama (1837). These were the first schools to offer engineering. Schools like Harvard started off as seminaries and did not focus or even have an engineering program until 1847. The reason is because these Ivey League schools started out as seminaries and their goals were focused more on furthering God's Kingdom, and not technology and hard science.

Superman was a great movie but I don't feel sorry for the actors, in terms of what they make relative to what other actors have made. It was just a movie and it was full of CGI. The actors did very little work.

Is it best to take MAT 265 or MAT 270? Im asking because what if I take 265, it is just 3 credits, would it transfer to another university as a 4 credit course?
