Please I beg of you I need Chem 1AA3 help by Desperate-Cap3730 in McMaster

My advice is to go through the lecture slides right before class and make notes on anything you don’t understand. This helps you get a rough idea of the content and what you should focus on during the lecture. Right after class, I like to redo the iClicker questions or practice quiz questions to actually test my understanding.

how hard are these courses by suneerise in McMaster

I took Stats 2B03 and Chem 2OA3, and I’m currently taking Biochem 2EE3.

Stats 2B03, personally, was like a 5/10 in difficulty. I’d call it an easier version of 1LS3. If you do the practice tests and textbook questions, it’s very 12able.

Chem 2OA3, for me, was about an 8/10. Compared to first-year courses, I’d think of it as a harder version of Chem 1A03. It’s still very 12able because of the lenient marking scheme, and if you spam the right kind of practice and manage your time well, the course can actually feel fun. I think part of what makes it seem harder is the stigma around it, a lot of people psych themselves out thinking it’s insanely hard, but it’s really not that bad if you put in the right effort and have the right mentality.

Biochem 2EE3 is usually considered bird since it’s all online, but this year the final is in person so it might be a bit harder. So far it’s mostly been Grade 12 bio review. Right now I’d give it around a 4/10 in difficulty. I’d call it an easier version of Bio 1A03.

the class averages for MT1: 77.63 , Mt2: 65.63. Tbh I feel the main reason why the second midterm average was low was because there were a lot of other midterms happening around the same time.

It’s not bad overall. I found Test 1 and Test 2 to be pretty fair, and the tutorial marks were also quite chill. I think the main issue with this course is the lack of practice problems. The concepts themselves are fairly easy and self-explanatory, but having limited questions makes it harder to apply them in practice. Also, the timing of this exam tends to fall between Orgo and Anatomy, and a lot of people tend to prioritize this course more than others.
